Buckeye Township is a township in Ellis County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 414.
Buckeye Township covers an area of 136.11 square miles (352.5 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains three cemeteries: Hyacinth, Saint Andrew and Saint Severin.
A post office was opened at Martin in 1875. The post office was discontinued in 1894. [1] The Martin area was part of Saline Township until 1910, when it passed to Riverview Township, and ultimately was incorporated into Buckeye Township. [2] [3]
Ridge Township is a former township in Barber County, Kansas, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 4. However, according to the Kansas State Historical Society, the township had already merged into neighboring Sharon Township as of March 22, 1999. It was not included as a separate listing in the 2010 census.

However, according to the Kansas State Historical Society, the township had already merged with neighboring Ridge Township as of March 22, 1999. Ridge Township was still listed as a separate entity in the 2000 census. By the 2010 census, Ridge was no longer listed, and only the surviving, now larger, Sharon Township was listed.
