The Welsh football league system is a series of football leagues with regular promotion and relegation between them.
The Central Wales Football League(formerly the Mid Wales Football League) is a football league in Wales at tier four of the Welsh Football pyramid, run by the Central Wales Football Association. The league consists of two regionally based divisions - a Northern Division and a Southern Division. The league offers a promotion route to the Football Association of Wales administered tier three Ardal Leagues. Relegation is possible to the relevant tier five level leagues in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion and Montgomeryshire.
Rhayader Town Football Club are a Welsh football team. The club dates from around 1884 and their ground is called Y Weirglodd, which accommodates 435 seated spectators. The club plays in the Central Wales Football League Southern Division, which is at tier four of the Welsh football pyramid.

The Ardal Leagues are a football league in Wales. The word "ardal" translates as "district" in English, with Wales split into four regions at this level. They have clubs with amateur/semi-professional status and sit at the third level of the Welsh football league system. The first year of their operation would have been 2020–21 but the 2020–21 Ardal North East season, 2020–21 Ardal North West season, 2020–21 Ardal South East season and 2020–21 Ardal South West season were all cancelled. The inaugural season was moved to 2021–22. The creation of the leagues mark the first time the Football Association of Wales owns and is administering tier 3 of the Welsh league system. These changes follow from a review of the Welsh football pyramid. To be eligible clubs need to meet the criteria for FAW tier 3 certification.

Machynlleth Football Club is a Welsh football team based in Machynlleth, Powys, Wales. They played in the Ardal Leagues North East, which is in the third tier of the Welsh football league system but withdrew from the league in July 2022 citing lack of player commitment. For the 2022–23 season they will instead play in the Central Wales Southern Division.

Talgarth Town Football Club is a Welsh football team based in Talgarth, Powys, Wales. The team used to play in Central Wales League Southern Division, which is at the fourth tier of the Welsh football league system but for the 2023–24 season dropped to the Gwent Central League which is the eighth tier.
