The European Volleyball Confederation is the continental governing body for the sports of indoor volleyball, beach volleyball and snow volleyball in Europe. Its headquarters is in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
The Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) is the governing body of volleyball and beach volleyball in Turkey. Formed in 1958, it is based in Ankara. The TVF is a member of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). Federation's president is Mehmet Akif Ustundag since November 21, 2016.
Naz Aydemir Akyol is a Turkish volleyball player. She plays as a setter for Eczacıbaşı Dynavit and the Turkey women's national volleyball team. She has won a total of nine Turkish League championships, four with Vakıfbank, three with Eczacıbaşı and two with Fenerbahçe. She has four CEV Champions League championships, winning three with Vakıfbank and one with Fenerbahçe. She also has three FIVB Club World Championship, winning two with Vakıfbank and one with Fenerbahçe. She was part of the Turkey national team at the 2012 and 2020 Summer Olympics.
Şeyma Ercan is a Turkish volleyball player who plays for Türk Hava Yolları SK. She is 186 cm (6.10 ft) tall at 69 kg (152 lb) and plays in the wing spiker position. Şeyma began playing volleyball in 2005 at Gazi University's Sport Club in her hometown. She was encouraged by coach Elif Öz. She is a member of the Turkey women's youth national volleyball team, and wears number 5. In 2009, at the age of only 15, she became a member of the A-team, which played in the Turkish Women's Volleyball Second League. She transferred to Beşiktaş Women's Volleyball Team in Istanbul in the 2011-2012 season. In September 2012, she signed a three-year contract with Eczacıbaşı VitrA, which then loaned her out for one year to Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor. She spent next two years at Eczacıbaşı VitrA. In 2015, she transferred to Fenerbahçe Grundig Women's Volleyball Team. Şeyma Ercan debuted in the girls' youth national team in 2011 playing at the 2011 CEV Girls Youth Volleyball European Championship, where her team won the gold medal and she was honored with the Best Server title. She won the 2012 Women's Junior European Volleyball Championship with the national team.
The Women's Junior European Volleyball Championship is a sport competition for national teams with players under 20 years, currently held biannually and organized by the European Volleyball Confederation, the volleyball federation from Europe. As of the 2024 edition, the CEV will align the age limit for the men's and women's competitions to U20.
The 2013 Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship was played in Serbia and Montenegro from March 30 to April 7, 2013. The top six teams qualified for the 2013 Youth World Championship.
Hande Baladın is a Turkish professional volleyball player. She started playing volleyball as middle blocker in the youth and junior teams of Eczacıbaşı Dynavit in Istanbul. Since 2014, she plays as opposite spiker. Baladın is a member of the women's national volleyball team, and wears number 7.

Originally the age limit was 19; as of the 2018 edition, the competition age limit was changed from 19 to 18 and the name to U18 European Championship.

The tournament was held in Montenegro from 1 to 9 October 2020.

Of Belarus (BVF) That is an affiliate of Federation of International Volleyball FIVB and also a part of European Volleyball Confederation CEV. In light of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) banned all Belarusian national teams, clubs, and officials from participating in European competition, and suspended all members of Belarus from their respective functions in CEV organs.
