Volleyball at the Asian Games

Volleyball for men is played at the Asian Games since the 1958 edition in Tokyo, Japan. Women event is played since the 1962 edition in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Inaugrated in 1998, The ICC conceived the idea of the Champions Trophy – a short cricket tournament to raise funds for the development of the game in non-test playing countries. It remains as one of those ICC events that had the same format as that of another big cricketing event, like the Cricket World Cup, with the format being ODI's. Pakistan are the current Champions Trophy winners, which they won by defeating India in the final in 2017. In November 2021, the ICC confirmed the next edition of the tournament to take place in Pakistan in 2025. It is expected to be played in February and March 2025.
