Sin Salida (Spanish for "No Escape") is the collective name of a series of intermittently major professional wrestling, or Lucha Libre , shows held by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). To date CMLL has held six shows under the Sin Salida date. The main event of each of the shows has featured one or more wrestlers putting their hair on the line in a Lucha de Apuesta , or bet match. In 2009 and 2010 the theme of the main event was "Mexico vs. Japan" as CMLL regulars faced off against wrestlers from CMLL's partner promotion in Japan New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and marked the end of extended tours for Yujiro Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito and Taichi Ishikari. In 2013 10 Mini-Estrellas put their hair or their wrestling mask on the line in a Steel cage elimination match where the last man, Pequeño Violencia was shaved bald. CMLL held their most recent Sin Salida show on July 19, 2015.
The first CMLL event promoted under the Sin Salida name took place on December 4, 2009 and replaced Sin Piedad ("Without Mercy") as CMLL's end-of-year show that year. The event took place on Friday night which is tradition for most of CMLL's major shows and replaced the regular CMLL Super Viernes ("Super Friday") show. [1] To date all Sin Salida shows have taken place in Arena México, in Mexico City, CMLL's main venue. [1] [2] [3] CMLL has held 24 matches split over the four shows so far featuring a total of 78 individual wrestlers. Of those 78 wrestlers 11 of those were from the Mini-Estrella division and six were from CMLL's female division. [1] [2] [3] [4] Negro Casas is the only competitor to work on all four Sin Salida shows. [1] [2] [3] [4] Demus 3:16 worked the 2009 show under the ring name Pequeño Damián 666, while Diamante Azul worked the 2010 event as "Metro" and the 2013 and 2015 event under his current ring name. [1] [2] [3] Each year the main event has featured a Lucha de Apuesta ("Bet match") as their main event, the most important type of match in Lucha Libre. Five men have had to have all their hair shaved off as a result of losing a match, Rey Escorpión, Japanese wrestlers Yujiro Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito and Taichi Ishikari and Mini-Estrella, Pequeño Violencia. [1] [2] [3] In the 2013 event Aéreo, Eléctrico, Fantasy and Pequeño Nitro bet their wrestling mask on the outcome of the match but all escaped the cage to preserve their masks. [3]
The 2009 show saw CMLL World Tag Team Champions Volador Jr. and La Sombra successfully defend their championship against Los Hijos del Averno (Mephisto and Ephesto) in the semi-final match of the night. [1] The 2013 Sin Salida show saw Máscara Dorada defeat Negro Casas to win the NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship in what has so far been the only championship change on a Sin Salida show.| [5] Sin Salida has not yet hosted any of CMLL's annual tournaments.

Atlantis is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) where he performs as a Técnico and is one of the longest-tenured luchador in CMLL history. Atlantis was trained by Diablo Velasco, made his in-ring debut in 1983 and has always wrestled under the ring name Atlantis, named after the sunken city of Atlantis. Atlantis has held a large number of professional wrestling championships over the years, both in Mexico and in Japan, both individually and as a tag team. He has also won the mask of several prominent wrestlers through his career including Kung Fu, Villano III, Último Guerrero and La Sombra.
Felipe de Jesús Alvarado Mendoza is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler best known by the ring name La Máscara for his time working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) and was the co-founder and leader of Los Mercenarios.
Sin Salida was a professional wrestling major show event produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on December 4, 2009. The main event of the event was a Lucha de Apuestas, hair vs. hair match between the teams of El Texano Jr. and El Terrible against No Limit, which was the latest highlight of a "Mexico vs. Japan" storyline that CMLL has presented since the summer of 2009. Also on the show was a match for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship as reigning champions Volador Jr. and La Sombra defends against Los Hijos del Averno. The show featured four additional matches, three six-man, two out of three falls, tag team matches that is the most common match form in CMLL, and one Relampago or Lightning match, a one fall match between Mini-Estrella Mascarita Dorada and Pequeño Damián 666.
Mascarita Dorada, is the ring name of a Mexican Luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, who works in the Mini-Estrella division, comparable to midget wrestling. He is also known for his tenure with WWE under the ring name El Torito.
Shigeo Okumura is a Japanese professional wrestler who works for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and is billed as Okumura. He also makes performs for Major League Wrestling (MLW), where he is a two-time and current MLW World Tag Team Champion with Satoshi Kojima. Okumura originally worked for Tokyo Pro Wrestling (TPW) and later on All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) in Japan but moved to Mexico in 2005 to work for CMLL full-time. Okumura usually teams up with wrestlers from Japan who visit CMLL, currently as a group known as La Ola Amarilla. Okumura and Yujiro won the 2009 version of the Gran Alternativa tournament.

Humberto Sánchez Medorio is a Mexican luchadorEnmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Pequeño Black Warrior, or Pequeño Warrior. Sánchez works for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), in their Mini-Estrella division as a smaller version of wrestler Black Warrior. Sánchez previously worked for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) as Mini Psicosis, a smaller version of the wrestler Psicosis. Working in the Mini division does not necessarily mean that Sánchez has dwarfism as several short wrestlers work in the "Mini" division, which is what separates the Mexican Mini-Estrella from traditional Midget wrestling as practiced in the United States and other places.
Pólvora is the ring name of a Mexican LuchadorEnmascarado, or masked professional wrestler best known for his work in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Pólvora's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. His name is the Spanish term for Gunpowder. Pólvora's brother is also a professional wrestler, under the ring name Inquisidor.
Eléctrico is a Mexican Luchadorenmascarado or masked professional wrestler who works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He is a former and the longest reigning Mexican National Lightweight Champion. Eléctrico's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans.
Sin Salida was a professional wrestling major event produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on June 6, 2010, in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The event was centered on the storyline between CMLL wrestlers and a group called Los Invasores, a group portraying an "invading force". The event featured six matches, where four of the six matches featured the Invasores group of wrestlers. CMLL usually hold their major events on Friday Nights, but in this case CMLL chose to hold the event on Sunday, running opposite their rival Asistencia Asesoría y Administración's Triplemanía XVIII event that took place on the same night in Mexico City. The main event was scheduled to be a Lucha de Apuestas, hair vs. hair match between Taichi vs. Máximo.
Javier Cortes Sánchez is a Mexican Luchador, or professional wrestler who works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in their Mini-Estrella division. Cortés is better known under the ring name Shockercito, a mascota version of wrestler Shocker. Cortés was originally an enmascarado, (masked) character, but was forced to unmask after losing a Lucha de Apuesta, or bet match, on January 11, 2009. Working in the Mini division does not necessarily mean that Cortés has dwarfism as several short wrestlers work in the "Mini" division, which is what separates the Mexican Mini-Estrella from traditional Midget wrestling as practiced in the United States among other places.
La Ola Amarilla was a professional wrestling group, also known as a stable in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The group was founded in 2005 for Japanese-born wrestlers, often wrestlers touring CMLL through a talent-sharing agreement with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).
In September 2012 the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) held three CMLL Super Viernes shows, all of which took place in Arena México on Friday nights. On Friday September 14, CMLL held their annual Anniversary Show, replacing the regular Super Viernes show. Some of the matches from Super Viernes are taped for CMLL's weekly shows that air in Mexico the week following the Super Viernes show. The shows features various professional wrestling matches with different wrestlers involved in pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines. Wrestlers portray either villains or fan favorites as they follow a series of tension-building events, which culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. Being professional wrestling events matches are not won legitimately; they are instead won via predetermined outcomes to the matches that is kept secret from the general public.
Fabián Núñez Napoles is a Mexican luchador, better known by the ring name Rey Escorpión. He is currently working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he portrays a rudo or bad guy character. He is former the AAA World Tag Team Champions with El Texano Jr. and he is currently in his first reign as one third of the AAA World Trios Champions with La Hiedra and Texano Jr. He worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) from 2009 to 2016 and prior to that worked for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) in 2008, where he was known as Escorpión Negro. Núñez ring name is Spanish for "Scorpion King".
Sin Piedad is the collective name of a series of annual lucha libre, or professional wrestling major show promoted by Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The Sin Piedad show is CMLL's end of the year show, held in December. The first show held under the Sin Piedad took place in 2000, although CMLL has traditionally held a major event in December before then. Sin Piedad has been held eleven times so far, with the end of years event in 2005 billed as Juicio Final and then 2009 event billed as Sin Salida instead. In 2008 Sin Pidead was held in August, with no December show being held at all.
The CMLL 80th Anniversary Show was a professional wrestling event produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on September 13, 2013, in CMLL's home arena Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico. The event commemorated the 80th anniversary of CMLL, the oldest professional wrestling promotion in the world. CMLL's anniversary show is their biggest, most important show of the year, comparable to the Super Bowl for the National Football League or WrestleMania for WWE. The CMLL Anniversary Show series is the longest-running annual professional wrestling show, starting in 1934.
Sin Salida was a professional wrestling major event produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on June 2, 2013, in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The main event featured a 10-man Steel cage match contested under Lucha de Apuestas, or "Bet match" rules where the loser would be forced to either unmask or, if he was already unmasked, have all his hair shaved off. This particular match included 10 Mini-Estrellass with 4 of them risking their mask and six risking their hair. The final moments of the match saw Shockercito pin Pequeño Violencia to win the match. The other featured match of the show saw Negro Casas defend the NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship against Máscara Dorada. The show also included three additional matches.
Sin Salida (2015) was a major professional wrestling event produced by the Mexican Lucha Libre-promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on Friday night July 17, 2015, in CMLL's main venue, Arena México, nicknamed "the cathedral of Lucha Libre" in lieu of CMLL's normally scheduled Super Viernes show. The main event was a best two-out-of-three falls Lucha de Apuestas, or bet match where both Rey Escorpión and Último Guerrero "bet" their hair on the outcome of the match and the loser was forced to have all his hair shaved off afterwards as per Lucha Libre traditions. The show also hosted two first-round matches of CMLL's 2015 En Busca de un Ídolo tournament where Esfinge wrestled Canelo Casas and Delta was supposed to face Blue Panther Jr., but wrestled Hechicero instead. The show contained four additional matches. Although it was not announced ahead of time, the first six matches of the show were broadcast live on the Terra Networks' home page for free.
Sin Salida (2017) was a major professional wrestling event, scripted and produced by the Mexican Lucha Libre-promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on Monday night December 24, 2017, in CMLL's main venue, Arena México, nicknamed "the cathedral of Lucha Libre". It was the fifth overall show CMLL has held under the Sin Salida name.
