The Women's Africa Volleyball Championship U18 is a sport competition for national teams with women players under 18 years, currently held biannually and organized by the African Volleyball Confederation, the Africa volleyball federation.

Jacques Yoko Kwed is a former French-Cameroonian male volleyball player. He was part of the Cameroon men's national volleyball team at the 1990 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Brazil. On club level he played in France. In the late 1990s he played for the France men's national volleyball team.

The 2021 Women's African Nations Volleyball Championship is the 20th edition of the Women's African Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) with Rwanda Volleyball Federation (FRVB). The tournament is held in Kigali, Rwanda from 12 to 20 September 2021. The top two teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship as the CAVB representatives.

The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup was the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup, an annual women's international volleyball tournament contested by eight national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. The tournament was held at Krešimir Ćosić Hall in Zadar, Croatia, between 28 and 31 July 2022.

The final tournament was held in Poland and Slovenia from 26 August to 11 September 2022.
