The ARIA Charts are the main Australian music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The charts are a record of the highest selling songs and albums in various genres in Australia. ARIA became the official Australian music chart in June 1988, succeeding the Kent Music Report, which had been Australia's national music sales charts since 1974.

Twenty Ten is a two-disc retrospective album by Australian singer and songwriter Guy Sebastian. Disc one contains 18 songs from his previous five albums and two new songs, including the lead single "Who's That Girl" which features American rapper Eve. Disc two has acoustic versions of ten of the songs. The album was released in Australia on 19 November 2010 and reached number four on the ARIA Album Chart, Sebastian's sixth consecutive top ten album. It was certified platinum in its fourth week of release and was the fifth highest selling Australian artist album of 2010. It reached 2× platinum certification in 2014. "Who's That Girl" reached number one on the ARIA Singles Chart and achieved 5× platinum certification, and was Sebastian's fifth of six number one singles in Australia. It won the Highest Selling Single ARIA Award in 2011, and received nominations for Single of the Year and Best Pop Release. Sebastian was also nominated as Most Popular Australian Artist. "Who's That Girl" also reached number one and Platinum certification in New Zealand.
"Feel So Close" is a song by Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, released as the second single from his third studio album, 18 Months (2012). In order to have lyrics and be standalone, Harris had to return to singing on this song, after previously stating he had quit singing in concerts. The song debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Harris's sixth solo top ten single. Timothy Ugbedo Omaji, better known by his stage name Timomatic, is a Nigerian-born Australian singer-songwriter and dancer. Omaji rose to fame as a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance (Australia) in 2009 and placed seventh in the competition. In 2011, he appeared as a contestant on the fifth season of Australia's Got Talent and was placed third. This led to his most recent rise in fame by sparking the now infamous Facebook page "Timomatic was robbed on Australia's Got Talent", a Facebook page dedicated to the victimisation that Tim was forced to undergo on 'Australia's Got Talent'. Later that year, Omaji signed with Sony Music Australia and released his first single, "Set It Off", in November 2011, which peaked at number two on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified four times platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association.
"Good Night" is the debut single by British-Australian recording artist Reece Mastin, who won the third series of The X Factor (Australia) in 2011. It was released digitally on 22 November 2011, shortly after the show ended, as the lead single from his self-titled debut album. The song was written by Hayley Warner with Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci of the songwriting and production duo DNA Songs. "Good Night" received mixed to positive reviews from music critics, most of whom noted its similarities to Pink's "Raise Your Glass" (2010). The song debuted at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart, and became the first number-one winner's single for The X Factor (Australia). It was certified five times platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), denoting sales of 350,000 copies. "Good Night" also peaked at number one in New Zealand and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ).
"Set It Off" is the debut single by Australian recording artist Timomatic, released digitally on 18 November 2011, as the lead single from his self-titled second studio album. It was written by Timomatic and DNA Songs, who also produced the track. Timomatic stated that the song is "about having fun on the dance floor" and loving life. "Set It Off" peaked at number two on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified four times platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association. It also appeared on the New Zealand Singles Chart at number 14 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand.
"If Looks Could Kill" is a single by Australian recording artist Timomatic, released digitally on 23 March 2012, as the second single from his self-titled second studio album. He co-wrote the song with Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci of the production duo DNA Songs, who also handled the song's production. "If Looks Could Kill" peaked at number eight on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified double platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association for selling 140,000 copies.
