Hey Monday was an American rock band from West Palm Beach, Florida, formed in 2008. They released their debut album Hold On Tight in 2008, which produced the singles "Homecoming" and "How You Love Me Now". The album was followed up with their 2010 EP Beneath It All, which achieved moderate commercial success, and the Candles EP in 2011. Their final release, The Christmas EP, was released on December 6, 2011. The band is on hiatus and claims to be not "broken up". Cassadee Pope has since released three studio albums as a solo artist and became the first female winner of The Voice.

Cassadee Blake Pope is an American pop and country singer. She was the lead vocalist and songwriter of the pop rock band Hey Monday, with whom she released one studio album and two EPs. Pope embarked on a solo career in early 2012 and released the EP Cassadee Pope in May 2012. She took part in the 3rd season of The Voice and became the first female winner in December 2012. Her debut solo country album, Frame by Frame, was released in 2013 to a top 10 Billboard 200 charting. It debuted at No. 1 on Top Country Albums, with 43,000 copies sold in its first week.
Beneath It All is the first EP by American rock band Hey Monday. The band spent the beginning of 2010 finishing the writing and recording of Beneath It All, which was originally going to be their second full-length studio album. On June 23, Hey Monday announced the album name, track listing, as well as deluxe and standard editions of the album. Between late June and early August, the band performed on Warped Tour.

Rise and Shine is the third EP by American singer and songwriter Cassadee Pope, released on August 7, 2020 through Awake Music. Pope co-wrote all eight of the tracks and also co-produced the record with Todd Lombardo, both firsts in her solo career.
