Castellaniella hirudinis is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming, bacterium from the genus Castellaniella , isolated from the skin of a juvenile medical leech ( Hirudo verbana ) in Biebertal, Germany. [3] [4] [5]
