C. subterranea

Cavicella is a genus of bacteria which belongs to the class Gammaproteobacteria with one known species ( Cavicella subterranea ). [1] [2] Cavicella subterranea has been isolated from mineral water from a 150-metre-deep borehole in Portugal. [3] [4]

Cavicella’s temperature range is mesophilic, growing best at moderate temperatures, between 25°C and 40°C. Cavicella specifically, grows best at 28°C. [5]

Methyloferula stellata is a Gram-negative and non-motile bacteria from the genus of Methyloferula which has been isolated from acidic peat soil from Arkhangelsk in Russia. In contrast to most known Methanotrophs Methyloferula stellata is an aerobic acidophilic methanotroph. This makes it similar to Methylocella species, however it is unable to grow on multicarbon substrates. It's genome was sequenced in March and April 2015.

Silvanigrella aquatica is a bacterial species of the phylum Bdellovibrionota. The type strain was isolated from the small lake Nonnenmattweiher located in the Southern Black Forest in Germany. This species is currently the only species in the genus Silvanigrella, which is the only genus in the family Silvanigrellaceae, which is the only family in the order Silvanigrellales. The order Silvanigrellales is one of only two orders in the class Oligoflexia. The type strain MWH-Nonnen-W8red is remarkable due to its low GC content, its pigmentation and its plastic morphology. Of further interest is the relative close relationship of S. aquatica to "Spirobacillus cienkowskii" known as pathogens of daphnids (Daphnia), which are commonly called water fleas. However, S. aquatica is assumed to be a non-pathogenic free-living species. The genome of the type strain was sequenced,

Vibrio aerogenes is a gram-negative organism that is rod-shaped and has a two-sheathed flagella that is found on one side of the cell that makes it motile. When it is grown on polypeptone-yeast (PY) plate medium, the colonies are usually round and flat. It is an organism that is mesophilic which means it likes temperatures that are between 20-45°C. In addition, it is facultatively anaerobic, which means it can survive with or without oxygen. This is a marine bacteria that is most commonly found in temperatures between 30°C and 35°C and pH 6-7. It requires Na+ to grow and this is what makes the marine environment a necessity for this organism. V. aerogenes can ferment glucose and a few other carbohydrates to yield organic acids.
