Cecilie Maria Stenspil (born 22 October 1979) is a Danish actress. She graduated from the School of Acting at Odense Teater in 2006.

Contents

She has had leading roles in a large number of performances at several Danish theaters, including the Royal Danish Theatre, Aarhus Theater, Odense Teater and at the Folketeateret and she has starred in several films and TV series. In addition, she has voiced a huge number of cartoon productions.

Career

As a child, Stenspil was a student at the children's theater Eventyrteatret for 5 years. Since she was 10 years old, she has voiced various cartoons and cartoon series. In addition, she has recorded a number of audio books, including Lene Kaaberbøl's Skyggeporten. [1]

In 2009, she made her debut in front of the camera as Jasmina El-Murad in The Protectors. [2]

She plays Mrs. Helene Aurland in all the episodes of Badehotellet on TV 2.

Cecilie Stenspil received the Ove Sprogøe Prize of DKK 30,000 on 21 December 2010, on Ove Sprogøe's 91st birthday. [3] In addition to the mentioned award, she has received Poul Reumert's honorary scholarship, Prince Henrik's scholarship and Tagea Brandt's travel scholarship. [4]

In 2017, she participated in Peter Langdal's Efter brylluppet together with Kasper Leisner and Barbara Moleko.

Personal life

Stenspil is the daughter of the educator Lisbeth Stenspil and Børge Krogh Samuelsen. She is the older sister of Simon Stenspil [5] and is half Faroese. [6]

Since 2013, Stenspil is the life partner of fellow actor Troels Lyby. [7] They have two children together born in August 2018 [8] and again in 2020.

Olaf Heine Johannessen, is a highly acclaimed Faroese actor known for his versatile acting skills and remarkable performances. Born on 8 July 1961 in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, Olaf grew up in a family of actors with both his father, Eyðun Johannessen, and mother, Tove Johannessen born Jacobsen, being prominent figures in the Faroese theater scene. The Reumert Award is an annual Danish awards ceremony to recognize excellence in theatre achievements in Denmark. The award was founded by the Bikuben Foundation in 1998, and has been handed annually since then. There are 16 award categories as well as 10 talent awards. A jury of ten specialists in theatre selects the recipients, who receive a statuette and a prize. As of 2016, the recipients also receive an amount of money. The recipients of the Reumert Award of Honour receive DKK 200,000, the recipients of the Talent Prize receive DKK 35,000 and all other categories-recipients receive DKK 40,000. The Reumert prize is named after the Danish actor Poul Reumert (1883–1968).

Ingeborg Cathrine Caroline Skov (1893–1990) was a Danish actress who performed on stage as well as in a number of films. After training at Copenhagen's Dagmar Theatre, she made her stage debut there in 1911 while her first movie appearance was in 1914 in the silent film Elskovsbarnet. After marrying the theatre director Carl Thorvald Larsen in 1930, she performed a wide variety of key roles, first at the Odense Theatre until 1935 and thereafter at Copenhagen's Folketeatret until 1959. Kirsten Eli Lehfeldt is a Danish actress. After studying at the Aarhus Theatre School she appeared on stage in theatre productions and in a variety of reviews as a comic. In 1980, with her slim figure and penetrating singing voice she gained success in Aalborg in the title role of Piaf representing the French singer Edith Piaf. In 1986, Lehfeldt made her film debut as the nurse Henriette in Helle Ryslinge's Flamberede hjerter, earning the prized Bodil Award for best actress. She has recently appeared in the comic Danish TV series Carmen Curlers and Guru. Since her partner Stig Hoffmeyer died in 2022, she has continued performing the role of Gerda in the TV series Minkavlerne, now in its fourth year.
