Beaverton is a city in Washington County, in the U.S. state of Oregon. The city is located 7 miles (11 km) west of Portland in the Tualatin Valley and is among the main cities that make up the Portland metropolitan area. Its population was 89,803 at the 2010 census, making it the second-largest city in the county and the sixth-largest city in Oregon. Beaverton is an economic center for Washington County along with neighboring Hillsboro. It is home to the world headquarters of Nike, Inc., which sits outside of city limits in unincorporated county land.
Cedar Hills is a census-designated place and neighborhood in Washington County, Oregon, United States south of U.S. Route 26 and west of Oregon Route 217 and within the Portland metropolitan area. Factoria is a mixed-use suburban neighborhood in south Bellevue, Washington and is one of the city's significant commercial districts. Originally timberland from the 1890s to 1920s and later envisioned as an industrial center, Factoria has since the 1960s evolved into commercial and residential development. Factoria was annexed into Bellevue in 1993. The core neighborhood is bounded by Interstate 90 to the north, Interstate 405 to the west, Newport Way to the east, and Coal Creek Parkway to the south.

Mall/Southwest 4th Avenue and Mall/Southwest 5th Avenue were a pair of light rail stations in Portland, Oregon, United States, that were served by TriMet as part of the MAX Light Rail system. The stations were built into the sidewalks of Southwest Yamhill and Morrison streets between 4th and 5th avenues in downtown Portland, and were the 22nd and 8th stops eastbound on the Blue Line and the Red Line, respectively. For just over five years, they were also served by the Yellow Line from its opening in May 2004 until its rerouting to the Portland Transit Mall in August 2009.
Pioneer Square South and Pioneer Square North are a pair of light rail stations in Portland, Oregon, United States, served by TriMet as part of its MAX Light Rail system. The station platforms occupy the sidewalks of Southwest Yamhill and Morrison streets between Broadway and 6th Avenue in downtown Portland, and are the 21st and 7th stops eastbound on the Blue Line and the Red Line, respectively. They are situated directly west of the Portland Transit Mall at Pioneer Courthouse Square; these stations, along with the Pioneer Courthouse/Southwest 6th and Pioneer Place/Southwest 5th stations that are served by the Green, Orange, and Yellow lines, mark the only transfer point in the MAX system where riders can board any of the five existing lines.

In the United States, this focus is atypical in an era when automobile use led many areas to neglect their core cities in favor of development along interstate highways, in suburbs, and satellite cities.

Beaverton Transit Center is a transport hub located in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. Owned and operated by TriMet, it is a bus, commuter rail, and light rail station. The station serves as MAX Light Rail's 14th eastbound stop on the Blue Line and the western terminus of the Red Line. It is also the northern terminus of WES Commuter Rail and a hub for numerous bus routes serving the westside communities of the Portland metropolitan area. The station is situated north of Southwest Canyon Road on Southwest Lombard Avenue in central Beaverton, connected by walkway to Canyon Place Shopping Center. It recorded 9,709 average weekday boardings for all modes in fall 2018, making it TriMet's busiest transit center.
Oregon Route 210 is a state highway which runs between the community of Scholls, Oregon and the Raleigh Hills neighborhood west of Portland, terminating at the Sylvan overpass on Highway 26. It has become an important route for both commuters and agriculture through Washington County. Oregon Route 210 is signed from east-to-west; though in actuality it runs in a northeast-to-southwest direction.

The Hillsdale district is a neighborhood in the southwest section of Portland, Oregon, United States. It is centered on the Hillsdale retail and business area, a series of strip malls on SW Capitol Highway between SW Sunset Boulevard and SW Bertha Boulevard. It is home to the Hillsdale Farmer's Market, which takes place on Sundays during the summer and every other Sunday during the winter. Hillsdale is also home to Oregon's first brewpub, with the opening of McMenamins Hillsdale Brewery in 1985.

Opened in October 2004, the center provides shopping to the Hillsboro/Beaverton area west of Portland, near the Sunset Highway. The $55 million center is an open-air complex designed to mimic older downtown shopping districts and has 55 store locations.
Tanasbourne, Oregon, is a neighborhood in Washington County, Oregon, where NW 185th Avenue and the Sunset Highway intersect. It is located within the Portland metropolitan area. The area sits between Beaverton and Hillsboro, and is generally considered to be south of U.S. 26, north of Walker Road, west of 158th, and east of Cornelius Pass Road. The area has many shopping areas and is the former home of the defunct Tanasbourne Mall.
Bernard's Airport, also known as Bernard Airport, was a non-commercial airfield in Beaverton, Oregon, United States, from 1928 to 1969. In its early years, it was one of two private airports located in Beaverton, the other being Watts Field, about one-half mile to the south of Bernard's Airport. The Bernard Airport site was redeveloped in 1969 as "Bernard's Beaverton Mall", now known as Cedar Hills Crossing.
