Ch'utu Wankarani [2] (Aymara ch'utu peak of a mountain, top of the head, wankara a kind of drum, [3] ni a suffix to indicate ownership, Hispanicized spelling Choto Huancarani) is a 4,475-metre-high (14,682 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, northeast of Ch'ama (Chama). Ch'utu Wankarani lies northeast of Imill Wawani and Apachita and southeast of Jisk'a Sallalla and Wisk'achani. The Wila Jaqhi Jawira ("red rock river", also spelled Wila Jakke Jahuira, Wila Jaqi Jawira) originates near Ch'utu Wankarani. It flows to the northeast. [1] [4]

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range

The Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range is situated in Bolivia south east of Wiñaymarka Lake, the southern part of Lake Titicaca, in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province. The range is named after one of highest mountains, the Kimsa Chata complex rising up to 4,735 metres (15,535 ft) about 15 km south of Tiwanaku.

South of Wila Qullu it meets the T'ula Pallqa River whose source, the Jach'a Juqhu River, is considered the origin of the Pillku Mayu.

Wisk'achani lies north of the mountain Imill Wawani, north-east of Jisk'a Sallalla and Sallalla and south-east of Q'ullq'uni. The river Wila Jaqhi Jahuira originates east of the mountain. It flows to the north-east.

Qullquni

Q'ullq'uni is a 4,570-metre-high (14,993 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, north-east of Ch'ama (Chama). Q'ullq'uni lies north-west of the mountain Wisk'achani, north-east of the mountain Jisk'a Sallalla and east of the mountains Pukara and Wila Qullu.

Chuqi Qawa (Chuñuni Jawira)

Chuqi Q'awa is a 4,570-metre-high (14,993 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, in the north of the Jesús de Machaca Municipality, near the border with the Tiwanaku Municipality. Chuqi Q'awa is situated south of the river Chuñuni Jawira (Chununi Jahuira).

Jacha Qullu (Ingavi)

Jach'a Qullu is a 4,305-metre-high (14,124 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Jach'a Qullu lies near the Jach'a Jawira valley north-east of the archaeological site of Qhunqhu Wankani.

Challa Qullu (La Paz) mountain in Bolivia

Ch'alla Qullu is a mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of about 4,660 m (15,290 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Ch'alla Qullu lies northwest of Chhuxlla Willk'i. The Ch'uñu Jawira originates near the mountain. It flows to the south as a right affluent of the Jach'a Jawira.

Ch'uch'u Jawira is a Bolivian river in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality. Its waters flow the Kaka River which belongs to the watershed of the Beni River.

Wankar Quta Qullu

Wankar Quta Qullu is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,900 metres (16,076 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality, north of the main range of the Cordillera Real. Wankar Quta Qullu lies northeast of the mountain Wila Wilani. South of it there is a lake named Q'asiri Quta. A little river named Q'asiri Jawira originates here. It flows to Ch'uch'u Jawira in the south.

Wila Qullu (Ingavi)

Wila Qullu is a mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of approximately 4,400 m (14,400 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, on the border of the municipalities of Jesús de Machaca and Tiwanaku. Wila Qullu lies north of Chuqi Q'awa.

Jani Lawani (Aymara) is a 4,605-metre-high (15,108 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, and in the Los Andes Province, Laja Municipality. Jani Lawani lies south of Wiñaymarka Lake, the southern branch of Lake Titicaca, northwest of Siqurini, Phujtir Pata Punta and Asir Kunka.

The Ch'iyar Jawira originates north of the mountain. It flows to the northeast.

Taqachiri mountain in Bolivia

The Qullpa Jawira is a river in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is a right affluent of the Desaguadero River.

The Ch'alla Jawira which upstream is named Ch'api K'uchu and downstream successively is called Tupa Jawira and Qura Jawira is a river in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is a right affluent of the Aqhuya Jawira whose waters flow to the Desaguadero River.

Jacha Chutu (Oruro)

Jach'a Ch'utu is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of approximately 4,160 m (13,650 ft). It is located in the Oruro Department, San Pedro de Totora Province. Jach'a Ch'utu lies southeast of Yapu Qullu. The Turi Jawira originates east of the mountain. It flows to the Jach'a Jawira in the southwest.
