Chah Kandar (Persian : چاه كندر‎, also Romanized as Chāh Kandar and Chāh-e Kandār; also known as Chāh-e Kandeh and Chāh Kandeh)^[1] is a village in Kuhestan Rural District, Rostaq District, Darab County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 157, in 31 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kuhestan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Rostaq District, Darab County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,070, in 1,196 families. The rural district has 67 villages.

Rostaq District is a district (bakhsh) in Darab County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 14,241, in 3,402 families. The District has no cities. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Kuhestan Rural District and Rostaq Rural District.
