Chahuk (Persian : چاهوك‎, also Romanized as Chāhūk and Chahook; also known as Chāhok, Chauk, and Chok)^[1] is a village in Zardeyn Rural District, Nir District, Taft County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 411, in 124 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Zardeyn Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Nir District, Taft County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,516, in 805 families. The rural district has 19 villages.

Nir District is a district (bakhsh) in Taft County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 14,531, in 4,417 families. The District has one city: Nir.
