"Chameleon" is a song by Pnau, released in November 2016 as the lead single from the band's fifth studio album, Changa (2017). It is co-written by band members, Nick Littlemore, his older brother Sam Littlemore, and Peter Mayes. [1] "Chameleon" is the first new original music from Pnau since their album Soft Universe in 2011. The song features vocals from Kira Divine. The song peaked at number 4 on the Australian charts and was certified platinum. Digital remixes were released on 25 November 2016 and on 26 May 2017.

At the ARIA Music Awards of 2017, the song won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release. [2]

At the APRA Music Awards of 2018, the song was nominated for Dance Work of the Year and Most Played Australian Work.

Emily Mack from Music Feeds called the song a "“bonkers” half-schoolyard singalong, half-tribal dancefloor toe-tapper" [3] Amnplify called the song a "festival favourite and dance floor anthem" [4] Monique Hughes from Howl and Echoes described the song as "a big, kaleidoscopic, addictively-catchy party single". [5]

Pnau

Pnau, stylised as PNAU, are an Australian dance music trio originating from Sydney, Australia. The trio, a duo before 2016, consists of musicians Nick Littlemore, Peter Mayes and Sam Littlemore (production), with Sam joining in 2016. Pnau have achieved multiple successes throughout their career with their award-winning debut album Sambanova and their widely acclaimed 2007 release Pnau. As a record producer, he has worked with Elton John, Robbie Williams, Lover Lover, Ellie Goulding, Lost Valentinos, Mercy Arms, Groove Armada and Mika. From late 2009, Littlemore had worked with the Cirque Du Soleil as a composer and musical director for the touring arena show Zarkana, which debuted on 29 June 2011. His older brother Sam La More is also a musician and record producer.

Disco Montego are an Australian R&B and dance music performance, song writing and production duo. The Dowlut brothers Dennis and Darren, formed Kaylan in Melbourne in 1995. They released an R&B album No Commandments in 2000, which reached No. 23 in Australia and spawned three Top 50 singles. In May 2001, they became the studio based group, Disco Montego, and released further singles followed by Disco Montego in September 2002. Their production work included remixing Mariah Carey's "Boy " in 2004.

Sam Littlemore

Sam Littlemore, also known as Sam La More, is an Australian record producer, songwriter and recording artist working in Sydney and Los Angeles. Littlemore, a member of dance music trio Pnau, is best known for being involved in the production of "What You Waiting For?" (2004) by Gwen Stefani, Pnau songs "Go Bang", "Chameleon" and "Changes" (2013) by Faul & Wad Ad vs. Pnau, "Can't Get Better Than This" (2012) by Parachute Youth, "High" (2013) and "Fire" (2018) by Peking Duk, "Don't Hold Back" (2007) by The Potbelleez and songs with Nellee Hooper, Rick Nowels, Nelly Furtado on Loose (2006), Arthur Baker, Pnau and Tonite Only. He has won multiple ARIA and APRA Awards.

The Potbelleez are a three-member Irish-Australian electro-house and dance music group, which formed in 2003 as a duo by DJs Dave Goode and Jonny Sonic. In 2005 they were joined by rapper Blue MC on vocals and in 2006 by iKid on vocals. In October 2007, the group issued their breakthrough single, "Don't Hold Back", which peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and, in 2011, it was certified 3× Platinum by ARIA. On 22 November 2008 their debut self-titled album was released, which reached No. 17 on the ARIA Albums Chart. On 27 May 2011 they issued a second studio album, Destination Now, which peaked at the same position. Peking Duk Australian electronic music duo

Peking Duk are an Australian electronic music duo made up of disc jockeys and music producers Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. The pair first garnered attention in 2012 with the release of a Passion Pit bootleg remix. Their biggest hit "High" reached 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, achieved a triple platinum certification and won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2014.
