The Championship of Texas, formerly known as AutoParts4Less.com MotoAmerica Championship of Texas, for sponsorship reasons, is a MotoAmerica race [1] that was held for the first time in the 2015 season at Circuit of the Americas. It is usually the first or second race on the MotoAmerica schedule. MotoGP and MotoAmerica have raced in the same weekend at Circuit of the Americas from 2015-2019, were due to race again for the 2020 and 2021 season but it got cancelled. [2] [3] [4] For the 2022 season, MotoAmerica will act as a support event for the 2022 Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas once again which is scheduled to be on April 8-10. [5]

The 2020 race was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. [6] The 2021 race was not added to the 2021 MotoAmerica Schedule.

The British Supersport Championship, National Superstock 1000 & 600 and the British Motostar Championship are the four main championship series that are run as support races alongside the British Superbike Championship. In 2012 the Motostar category replaced the defunct 125cc category that had been running since the start of the British Superbike Championship in 1988, Motostar was open to both 125 and 250 machines similar to Moto 3 machines. The Supersport racing started in 1989 and is a class comprising 600cc Motorcycles that are allowed racing modifications and custom tuning. It wasn't until 2000 that the Superstock 1000 category replaced the defunct 250cc category, with the Superstock 600 championship being the newest addition on the support series in 2008. In 2010 the Superstock 1000 and Superstock 600 categories also supported the British rounds of the Superbike World Championship and the Moto GP both at Silverstone.

The 2020 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship season was the 44th season of the premier class of circuit-based motorcycle racing in the United States and the 6th since its renaming to MotoAmerica. Cameron Beaubier entered the season as the defending champion, after taking his fourth title in 2019.

The 2021 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship season was the 45th season of the premier class of circuit-based motorcycle racing in the United States and the 7th since its renaming to MotoAmerica. Cameron Beaubier entered the season as the defending champion but did not defend his title after moving to the 2021 Moto2 World Championship.

The 2021 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship season was the 7th season of the supersport class of motorcycle racing within the MotoAmerica series. Richie Escalante entered the season as the defending champion, picking up his first MotoAmerica supersport title in 2020. However, the 9-round season concluded with Sean Dylan Kelly picking up his first MotoAmerica supersport title. This was enough to secure Kelly a move to Moto2 for 2022.

Sean Dylan Kelly is an American motorcycle racer, competing for the Forward Team in the 2023 Moto2 World Championship. He previously competed in the AMA Supersport Championship with the M4 Ecstar Suzuki team, having won the championship in 2021.

The 2022 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship season was the 46th season of the premier class of circuit-based motorcycle racing in the United States and the 8th since its renaming to MotoAmerica.

The 2019 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship season was the 43rd season of the premier class of circuit-based motorcycle racing in the United States and the 5th since its renaming to MotoAmerica. Cameron Beaubier entered the season as the defending champion, after taking his third title in 2018.

The 2023 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship season is the 47th season of the premier class of circuit-based motorcycle racing in the United States and the ninth with current promoter Wayne Rainey and the KRAVE group.
