The High Court of Bombay is the high court of the states of Maharashtra and Goa in India,and the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It is seated primarily at Mumbai,and is one of the oldest high courts in India. The High Court has regional branches at Nagpur and Aurangabad in Maharashtra and Panaji,the capital of Goa.
Sivasagar,is a city in and headquarters of the Sivasagar district,Assam. Sivasagar is situated about 360 kilometers (224 mi) northeast of Guwahati. It is well known for its Ahom palaces and monuments. Sivasagar is an important centre for tea and oil industries today. Sivasagar is a part of Jorhat. Akhil Gogoi is the current MLA of Sibsagar.
The Gauhati High Court was promulgated by governor general of India on 1 March 1948 after the Government of India Act 1935 was passed. Establishing the High Court of Assam with effect from 5 April 1948,for the then Province of Assam. It was originally known as the High Court of Assam and Nagaland,but renamed as Gauhati High Court in 1971 by the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) Act,1971.
The Gujarat High Court is the High Court of the state of Gujarat. It was established on 1 May 1960 under the Bombay Re-organisation Act,1960 after the state of Gujarat split from Bombay State.

The Assam Lokayukta is the Parliamentary Ombudsman for the state of Assam (India). It is a high level statutory functionary, created to address grievances of the public against ministers,legislators,administration and public servants in issues related to misuse of power,mal-administration and corruption. It was first formed under the Assam Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayukta Act,and approved by the president of India on 2011. The passage of Lokpal and Lokayukta's Act,2013 in Parliament had become law from January 16,2014 and requires each state to appoint its Lokayukta within a year. A bench of Lokayukta should consist of judicial and non-judicial members. An Upa-Lokayukta is a deputy to Lokayukta and assists him in his work and acts in-charge Lokayukta in case the position fells vacant before time.
