Chanthaburi United Football Club (Thai: สโมสรฟุตบอลจันทบุรี ยูไนเต็ด), is a Thai football club based in Chanthaburi, Thailand. The club is currently playing in the Thai League 3 Eastern region.

History

In 2022, Assawin Kohkwang United competed in the Thai League 3 for the 2022–23 season. It is their 4th season in the professional league. The club started the season with a 0–1 away defeat to Bankhai United [1] and they ended the season with a 0–1 home defeat to Bankhai United. [2] The club has finished 10th place in the league of the Eastern region. In addition, in the 2022–23 Thai FA Cup Assawin Kohkwang United was defeated 0–3 by Muangthong United in the third round, causing them to be eliminated [3] and in the 2022–23 Thai League Cup Assawin Kohkwang United was defeated 1–2 by Navy in the second qualification round, causing them to be eliminated too. [4]

The 2019 Thai FA Cup is the 26th season of a Thailand's knockout football competition. It was sponsored by Chang, and known as the Chang FA Cup for sponsorship purposes. The tournament is organized by the Football Association of Thailand. 100 clubs were accepted into the tournament, and it began with the qualification round on 27 March 2019 and concluded with the final on 2 November 2019. The winner would have qualified for the 2020 AFC Champions League preliminary round 2 and the 2020 Thailand Champions Cup. Chiangrai United defend champion but was knocked out in quarter-final by Port.

The 2020–21 Thai League 1 is the 24th season of the Thai League 1, the top Thai professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1996, also known as Toyota Thai League due to the sponsorship deal with Toyota Motor Thailand. A total of 16 teams will compete in the league. The season began on 14 February 2020 and is scheduled to conclude in October 2020.

The 2020–21 Thai League 3 Eastern region is a region in the regional stage of the 2020–21 Thai League 3. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season must be postponed to start in late 2020 and end in early 2021. In addition, the Thai League 4 had combined with the Thai League 3 and compete as Thai League 3 since this season and there is no relegation in this season. A total of 12 teams located in Eastern of Thailand will compete in the league of the Eastern region.

The 2021–22 season is Suphanburi's 9th consecutive seasons in top flight after promoted back from Thai League 2 in 2012. In this season, Suphanburi participates in 3 competitions which consisted of the Thai League, FA Cup, and League Cup.

The 2021–22 season is Nakhon Ratchasima's 7th consecutive seasons in top flight after promoted back from Thai Division 1 in 2014. In this season, Nakhon Ratchasima participates in 3 competitions which consisted of the Thai League, FA Cup, and League Cup.
