Charles William Kennett Baillie (4 September 1902 5 October 1987) was a British swimmer. He competed in the men's 100 metre freestyle event at the 1924 Summer Olympics. [1] [2]

Baillie was the son of an Edinburgh baths attendant and was also a club water polo player. He was a police officer, working for the police forces in Edinburgh and Oldham. [2]

William David "Dave" Baillie was a Canadian weightlifter who is best known for earning the silver medal at the 1954 and 1958 Commonwealth Games in the superheavyweight category. Baillie competed at the 1952 Olympic Games finishing 5th and the 1956 and 1960 Olympic Games finishing in 6th place each time. He was born in Montreal, Quebec and died in Morin-Heights, Quebec.
