William David Baillie was a New Zealand runner, who represented his country at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. There, he placed sixth in the 5000 m. He also competed at the 1954, 1958, 1962, and 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. At the time of his death, he held New Zealand records for the 20000 m and the 1 hour events.
William David "Dave" Baillie was a Canadian weightlifter who is best known for earning the silver medal at the 1954 and 1958 Commonwealth Games in the superheavyweight category. Baillie competed at the 1952 Olympic Games finishing 5th and the 1956 and 1960 Olympic Games finishing in 6th place each time. He was born in Montreal, Quebec and died in Morin-Heights, Quebec.
