Charles Pinder was an Anglican priest in the 20th century.
He was born on 5 May 1921, educated at Selwyn College, Cambridge, and King's College London (AKC), and ordained in 1951. [1] After a curacy at St Saviour's Raynes Park he was the vicar of All Saints' Hatcham Park then St Laurence's Catford. [2] He was the sub dean of Lewisham then the borough dean of Lambeth from 1973 to 1986. He died on 2 April 1999.

As Dean of Norwich from 1970 to 1978, he modernised the cathedral and its services, and opened up its buildings to the public. He ended his ministry as Dean of St Paul's, between 1978 and 1987, during which the cathedral saw the Wedding of Charles and Diana, and the so-called 'Victory Service' following the Falklands War.

He held incumbencies at Llanddewibrefi, Henfynyw and Lampeter. From 1986 to 1990 he was Archdeacon of Cardigan, following which he entered the Deanery. His last post before retirement was as Vicar of Nevern.
He died on 3 April 2006 aged 74, having suffered in his latter years from Parkinson's disease.
