Chenareh (Persian : چناره‎, also Romanized as Chenāreh)^[1] is a village in Majin Rural District, Majin District, Darreh Shahr County, Ilam Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Majin Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Majin District, Darreh Shahr County, Ilam Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,166, in 619 families. The rural district has 24 villages.

Majin District is a district (bakhsh) in Darreh Shahr County, Ilam Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,885, in 929 families. The District has one city Mirza Hoseynabad. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Kulkani Rural District and Majin Rural District.
