Chengdu Bus Rapid Transit is a bus rapid transit system in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, in the People's Republic of China.

The current system consists of a loop line integrated with the Chengdu Second Ring Road with dedicated bus lanes running in the center two lanes of the expressway. Transfers are available to several Chengdu Metro stations. [1] The line began a free trial run on May 31, 2013, and started official operation on June 11, 2013. It has 29 center platform stations located in expressway median which requires special buses with the doors on the left. [2] The loop is served by Lines K1, K1A, K2 and K2A. All buses have wifi. A new 7.8 km (4.8 mi) radial line heading northeast from the BRT loop to Qingbaijiang District is under construction. [3] The line, called the Fenghuang Shan (Phoenix Mountain) BRT, is scheduled to open in 2017. [4] Another 4.5 km (2.8 mi) elevated BRT line heading south of the BRT loop is also currently under constriction. [5] This line is known as the Jiannan Avenue BRT and is projected to open in 2018. [6] Additional BRT lines are planned to radiate from the loop with lines heading west to Wenjiang District, east via Shanbanqiao Road, and south to Tianfu New Area. Public bus service in Beijing is among the most extensive, widely used and affordable form of public transportation in urban and suburban districts of the city. In 2015, the entire network consisted of 876 routes with a fleet of 24,347 buses and trolleybuses carried 3.98 billion passengers annually. Trolleybuses run on over 31 routes including 6, 38, 42, 65, 101-112, 114-118, 124, 128, 301, BRT 1-3. Many of these trolleybus routes are located inside the Third Ring Road but some, such as 301 and BRT 1-3, do extend as far out as the Fifth Ring Road. Since 2013, In an effort to reduce urban air pollution, Beijing has been converting regular bus routes to trolleybus routes by installing overhead power lines on several corridors. Public bus service in the city began in 1921. Today there are two operators. The city's primary public bus operator, the state-owned Beijing Public Transport Holdings, Ltd. operates most routes and the Beijing Xianglong Bus Co., Ltd., an independent operator, provides service on 32 "Yuntong" (运通) bus routes.

The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region Intercity Railway System is a regional higher-speed rail and suburban rail network being gradually constructed in the Pearl River Delta, People's Republic of China. The project's goal is to have every major urban center in the Greater Bay Area to be within one-hour travel by rail to Guangzhou. On March 16, 2005, the State Council approved plans for a regional high-speed commuter rail network for the Jingjinji, Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. According to the plan, by 2020, the network will have a total route mileage of about 600 kilometres (370 mi). In September 2009, the plan was expanded to 1,478 km (918 mi) of routes split up into 23 lines. In the long term vision network length will reach 1,890 km (1,170 mi) by 2030. By then the network will provide basic coverage to the Pearl River Delta region. The Suishen ICR, Guanhui ICR and Guangfozhao ICR accept Alipay, avoiding the need to purchase tickets in advance.

The Shanghai–Chongqing–Chengdu high-speed railway is a high-speed rail line under construction in China. The Chinese name of the railway line, Huyurong, is a combination of the abbreviations for Shanghai, Chongqing, and Chengdu. It will run in an east-west direction largely parallel to the Yangtze River, connecting the cities of Shanghai, Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhan, Chongqing and Chengdu.

Chengdu Metro Line 9 is located in Chengdu, Sichuan and forms an extension to the existing Chengdu Metro system. The line officially opened on 18 December 2020.

Line 30 of the Chengdu Metro is a metro line currently under construction in Chengdu. Line 30's color is Light Pink. Phase 1 runs tangentially on the south side of the Chengdu from Terminal 2 of Shuangliu International Airport East to Longquan Railway Station. Phase 1 is 27.74 km long with 24 stations, all underground. Line 30 will use 6-car Type-B rolling stock operating up to 80 km/h. Line 30 will be served by two depots at Gaobeiba and Hongjiaqiao.

Line 17 of the Chengdu Metro is a metro line in Chengdu. The whole line will be 30.286 km when Phase 2 opens. The line uses 8-car Type-A trains operating up to 140 km/h speed powered by 25kV AC overhead lines.

Chengdu Tram Line 2 is a tram line in Chengdu, China. The line has a total length of 39.3 kilometres (24.4 mi) and 35 stations. It has a 'Y' layout and runs from the Chengdu West railway station to Pixian West railway station and Hongguang. The line was officially started in December 2015, and the 13.7 km (8.5 mi) demonstration section of the line was opened on 26 December 2018, and the remaining sections were opened on 27 December 2019.

Line S6 is a rapid transit line connecting Nanjing and Jurong in Jiangsu Province, China. It is 43.64 kilometres (27.12 mi) long and has a maximum operating speed of 120 kilometres per hour (75 mph). It has opened on 28 December 2021. The line operates with a mixed express and local services using passing loops to allow for express trains to pass local ones.

Line S5 (Chengdu Metro), also known as Chengdu - Meishan Line, shortened as Cheng - Mei LineMeishan Line. It is a project in Chengdu, China. This line started from Honglian Station, Line 19 ,Tianfu New Area, Chengdu, and ends at Meishan East Railway Station (Metro & National Railway), Dongpo, Meishan. This line is 59 km long and has 5 underground stations and 8 elevated/ground stations. Construction started on Sep 26, 2022, and Line S5 is expected to open in Dec 2026.
