Chigu (Persian : چيگو‎, also Romanized as Chīgū and Chigoo)^[1] is a village in Manj Rural District, Manj District, Lordegan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 657, in 115 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Monj Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Monj District, Lordegan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,208, in 1,771 families. The rural district has 27 villages.

Manj District is a district (bakhsh) in Lordegan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 17,232, in 3,266 families. The District has one city Manj-e Nesa. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Barez Rural District and Manj Rural District.
