Christopher Desmond Hartley (born 24 May 1982) is an Australian cricketer who played for Queensland in Australian domestic cricket between 2002 and 2016. He was the team's first-choice wicket-keeper and won two Sheffield Shield titles with the team.
Hartley was born at Nambour,Queensland and educated at Brisbane Boys' College where he was College Captain in 1999.
He played as a hard-hitting left-handed batsman and became the first from his state since Matthew Hayden to score a debut century,making 103 against South Australia in 2003–04. On 21 September 2005,he took part in Australia A's tour of Pakistan. He was part of Queensland's Pura Cup winning side for 2005–06 and took seven catches in the final to finish with a tally for the season of 53 dismissals.
Hartley was announced Sheffield Shield player of the 2009–10 season on 15 March 2010 in the week preceding the Shield Final.
In the 2014–15 Big Bash League season,Hartley represented Sydney Thunder. [1]
In 2016,he took his 500th Sheffield Shield catch,the first wicket-keeper to do so. [2] In February 2017 he equalled Darren Berry's record for the most dismissals by a wicket-keeper in the Sheffield Shield,when he took his 546th dismissal. [3] Later that month,he played in his 100th consecutive Sheffield Shield match. [4] However,shortly after that he broke a finger,meaning he missed his first Sheffield Shield match since October 2007. In March 2017,he announced his retirement from domestic cricket,following the conclusion of the 2016–17 Sheffield Shield season. [5]
Ian Andrew Healy is an Australian former international cricketer who played for Queensland domestically. A specialist wicketkeeper and useful right-hand middle-order batsman,he made an unheralded entry to international cricket in 1988,after only six first-class games. His work ethic and combativeness was much needed by an Australian team. Over the next decade,Healy was a key member of the side as it enjoyed a sustained period of success. By the time of his retirement,Healy held the world record for most Test dismissals by a wicket-keeper.
Donald Tallon was an Australian cricketer who played 21 Test matches as a wicket-keeper between 1946 and 1953. He was widely regarded by his contemporaries as Australia's finest ever wicket-keeper and one of the best in Test history,with an understated style,an ability to anticipate the flight,length and spin of the ball and an efficient stumping technique. Tallon toured England as part of Don Bradman's Invincibles of 1948 and was recognised as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1949 for his performances during that season. During his Test career,Tallon made 58 dismissals comprising 50 catches and 8 stumpings.
William Edgar Richard Somerville is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for Auckland. He made his international debut for New Zealand in December 2018.
Stephen Norman John O'Keefe is an Australian cricketer who has played for the Australian national team in Test matches and Twenty20 Internationals. O'Keefe was formerly the captain of the New South Wales Sheffield Shield team.

Peter Michael Nevill is a former Australian cricketer who played 17 tests and 9 T20 internationals for Australia. He also represented New South Wales and the Melbourne Stars,having previously played for the Melbourne Renegades and the Sydney Sixers. He was Australia's regular Test wicket-keeper from the second test of 2015 Ashes series until being dropped in November 2016. He made his Twenty20 International debut for Australia against South Africa on 4 March 2016. He retired in April 2022.

The season began after the conclusion of the Matador BBQs One-Day Cup,and included a break halfway through to allow for the Big Bash League. Trials for day/night Tests with a pink ball continued,having been introduced during the previous season. All of the matches for rounds one and seven of the tournament were played as day/night games. Victoria won their second consecutive title,defeating South Australia by 7 wickets in the final at Gliderol Stadium. Travis Head was named player of the series for his 721 runs and 9 wickets during the season. Ben Dunk of Tasmania was the leading run-scorer,while Joe Mennie from South Australia took the most wickets.

In domestic cricket,he plays for South Australia and Adelaide Strikers. He was the captain of the Greater Western Sydney Giants in 2010,but when they joined the Australian Football League in 2012,he was left out of the squad and returned to his home state of South Australia,where he began to play domestic cricket.

It started on 25 October 2016 and finished on 30 March 2017. There was a break between December and January for the Big Bash League. The first round of matches were played as day/night games in preparation for Australia's day/night Test match against Pakistan on 15 December 2016. A second day/night round of fixtures took place in round five of the tournament.
The 2017 JLT One-Day Cup was the 48th season of the official List A domestic cricket competition in Australia. It was played over a four-week period at the start of the domestic season to separate its schedule from the Sheffield Shield season. The tournament was held in Sydney,Brisbane,Perth and Hobart,with all 23 matches to be broadcast live on the Cricket Australia website and app. It was the first time in more than a decade that neither the Nine Network nor Fox Sports (Australia) have hosted a television broadcast of the tournament.
