Christopher C. Holmes is a British statistician. He has held the position of Professor of Biostatistics in Genomics in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine and the Department of Statistics at the University of Oxford since September 2014, a post that carries with it a Fellowship of St Anne's College, Oxford. [1] Previously he was titular Professor of Biostatistics and a Fellow of Lincoln College. After working in industry he completed his doctorate in Bayesian statistics at Imperial College, London, supervised by Adrian Smith. [2]
Holmes's research interests are in spatial statistics, Bayesian non-parametrics and statistical problems in genetics. He is one of the co-founders of the Oxford-Man Institute. Holmes was awarded the 2003 Research Prize [3] and the 2009 Guy Medal in Bronze [4] by the Royal Statistical Society.
Alexander Philip Dawid is Emeritus Professor of Statistics of the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow of Darwin College, Cambridge. He is a leading proponent of Bayesian statistics.

Warren John Ewens is an Australian-born mathematician who has been Professor of Biology at the University of Pennsylvania since 1997.. He concentrates his research on the mathematical, statistical and theoretical aspects of population genetics. Ewens has worked in mathematical population genetics, computational biology, and evolutionary population genetics. He introduced Ewens's sampling formula.

Kantilal Vardichand "Kanti" Mardia is an Indian statistician specialising in directional statistics, multivariate analysis, geostatistics, statistical bioinformatics and statistical shape analysis. He was born in Sirohi, Rajasthan, India in a Jain family and now resides and works in Leeds. He is known for his series of tests of multivariate normality based measures of multivariate skewness and kurtosis as well as work on the statistical measures of shape.
Bradley Efron is an American statistician. Efron has been president of the American Statistical Association (2004) and of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (1987–1988). He is a past editor of the Journal of the American Statistical Association, and he is the founding editor of the Annals of Applied Statistics. Efron is also the recipient of many awards.
Sir Bernard Walter Silverman, is a British statistician and Anglican clergyman. He was Master of St Peter's College, Oxford, from 1 October 2003 to 31 December 2009. He is a member of the Statistics Department at Oxford University, and is also attached to the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, and the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance. He has been a member of the Council of Oxford University and of the Council of the Royal Society. He was briefly President of the Royal Statistical Society in January 2010, a position from which he stood down upon announcement of his appointment as Chief Scientific Advisor to the Home Office. He was awarded a Knighthood in the 2018 New Years Honours List, "For public service and services to Science".
Francis Patrick Kelly, CBE, FRS is Professor of the Mathematics of Systems at the Statistical Laboratory, University of Cambridge. He served as Master of Christ's College, Cambridge from 2006 to 2016.

Peter Green, FRS is a British Bayesian statistician. He is Emeritus Professor and Professorial Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, and a professor at the University of Technology, Sydney. He is distinguished for his contributions to computational statistics, in particular his contributions to spatial statistics and semi-parametric regression models and also his development of reversible-jump Markov chain Monte Carlo.
David George Clayton, is a British statistician and epidemiologist. He is titular Professor of Biostatistics in the University of Cambridge and Wellcome Trust and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Principal Research Fellow in the Diabetes and Inflammation Laboratory, where he chairs the statistics group. Clayton is an ISI highly cited researcher placing him in the top 250 most cited scientists in the mathematics world over the last 20 years.

He is Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics and Director of the Centre for Research in Statistical Methodology (CRiSM) at the University of Warwick. Bani K. Mallick is a Distinguished Professor and Susan M. Arseven `75 Chair in Data Science and Computational Statistics in the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University in College Station. He is the Director of the Center for Statistical Bioinformatics. Mallick is well known for his contribution to the theory and practice of Bayesian semiparametric methods and uncertainty quantification. Mallick is an elected fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Statistical Association, Institute of Mathematical Statistics, International Statistical Institute and the Royal Statistical Society. He received the Distinguished research award from Texas A&M University and the Young Researcher award from the International Indian Statistical Association.
