Christ Melik Makosso (born 9 May 2004) is a Congolese professional footballer who plays for English club Luton Town, as a defender.

Club career

Born in Brazzaville, Makosso spent his early career in the Congo with Ajax Moungali and CARA Brazzaville. [1] [2] He then played in France with Sochaux, before moving to Belgian club RWDM in January 2024. [3] [4] He was praised in the media as the "future" of RWDM, [5] while Makosso said he would focus on his club career over his international career. [6]

He moved to English club Luton Town in January 2025. [7] [8]

International career

He made his international debut for Congo in 2022. [1] In March 2024, Makosso said he was focussing on his club career at RWDM. [6]
