Christmas Party is the twelfth studio album and third Christmas album [1] by American drag queen RuPaul, released on November 1, 2018. The album features remixes of previously released holiday tracks, including "Christmas Cookies" and "My Favorite Holiday", as well as new songs, such as "Christmas Queen" and "Hey Sis, It's Christmas". [2]
RuPaul announced the album in August 2018. [2] Select songs were featured on the television special, RuPaul's Drag Race Holi-slay Spectacular , which aired on VH1 on December 7, 2018. [3] Speaking on the album, RuPaul said: "Celebrating the holidays with my most festive girls inspired me to record my new album, Christmas Party." [4]

RuPaul Andre Charles is an American drag queen, television host, singer, producer, writer, and actor. He produces, hosts, and judges the reality competition series RuPaul's Drag Race and has received several accolades, including 14 Primetime Emmy Awards, three GLAAD Media Awards, a Critics' Choice Television Award, two Billboard Music Awards, and a Tony Award. Ho Ho Ho, also known as VH-1 Presents RuPaul: Ho Ho Ho, is a Christmas album and the third studio album by American singer and drag queen RuPaul. Released on October 28, 1997, by the record label Rhino, it is RuPaul's first album featuring Christmas music and serves as a follow-up to his 1996 album Foxy Lady. RuPaul co-produced the album with Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato from the production company World of Wonder. Ho Ho Ho consists of thirteen tracks, including ten covers of Christmas standards and carols, and three original songs written by Joe Carrano and RuPaul. Music critics frequently described the album as an example of camp though RuPaul clarified that it included several more serious covers, specifically "All Alone on Christmas" and "Hard Candy Christmas".

Brian Michael Firkus, better known by the stage name Trixie Mattel, is an American drag queen, television personality, makeup entrepreneur, and singer-songwriter originally from Silver Cliff, Marinette County, Wisconsin. She is known for her exaggerated, 1960s-influenced style, distinctive eye makeup, and musical repertoire that blends of comedy with acoustic pop and folk-country music. Mattel sings and plays guitar and the autoharp. In 2015, she competed in the seventh season of the drag reality television competition series RuPaul's Drag Race, finishing in sixth place. In 2018, she won the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Mattel has also made guest appearances in various iterations of the Drag Race franchise.
Anus is the debut studio album by American drag performer Alaska Thunderfuck, the stage name of Justin Honard. It was released on June 23, 2015, through Sidecar Records and Producer Entertainment Group. After signing a recording contract with Producer Entertainment Group in 2013, Alaska Thunderfuck began planning the album that same year and work continued into 2015.
