Chun Joo-weon (born 15 November 1972) is a South Korean women's basketball coach and former player.

Career

Chun graduated from Sunil Girls' High School (선일여자고등학교) in 1991, and thereafter joined the Hyundai Electronics women's basketball team. [1] She competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics and in the 2000 Summer Olympics. [2] As of 2013, she is a coach for the Chuncheon Woori Bank team in the Women's Korean Basketball League. [3]

In his prime he boasted athleticism, the ability to dunk and a mid-range jump shot which was rare for players of his height in domestic basketball at that time, earning him the nicknames "Airborne" and "Air Hee-chul".

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Charles attended the University of Tennessee. She twice helped Tennessee win the NCAA Women's Championship in 1989 and 1991. Charles was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007.
