Coldwater is an unincorporated community in Calloway County, Kentucky, United States. The original site of the community was developed by Byrd Ezell in the early 1840s. The post office was established on December 9, 1856, and was active until 1907. [2]

Coldwater is an unincorporated community in northern Wayne County, Missouri, United States. It is located just east of U.S. Route 67, approximately seventeen miles south of Fredericktown and one mile south of the Madison-Wayne county line. The community is on Cedar Creek about three miles west of the St. Francis River.

Lodi is an unincorporated community in Wayne County, Missouri, United States. It is located on Bennett Creek, just east of the St. Francis River. U.S. Route 67 passes through the community, approximately thirteen miles northeast of Piedmont. The Coldwater Conservation Area lies to the northeast of Lodi and Sam A. Baker State Park lies to the west across the St. Francis River.

Coldwater Lake State Park is an undeveloped public recreation area occupying 400 acres (160 ha) on the south shore of Coldwater Lake, ten miles (16 km) south of the city of Coldwater in Branch County, Michigan. Money from the Natural Resources Trust Funds was used to create the state park in 1988. Two small, unpaved parking areas offer walk-in access for hunters and fishermen. A general management plan for the park was adopted by the Michigan State Parks Advisory Committee in 2015.

The Martin County coal slurry spill was a mining accident that occurred after midnight on October 11, 2000, when the bottom of a coal slurry impoundment owned by Massey Energy in Martin County, Kentucky, broke into an abandoned underground mine below. The slurry came out of the mine openings, sending an estimated 306 million US gallons of slurry down two tributaries of the Tug Fork River. By morning, Wolf Creek was oozing with the black waste; on Coldwater Fork, a 10-foot-wide (3.0 m) stream became a 100-yard (91 m) expanse of thick slurry.
