Cool Boarders: Code Alien is a snowboarding video game developed and published by UEP Systems exclusively for the PlayStation 2 and is the only Cool Boarders title to be released exclusively in Japan.     
Cool Boarders: Code Alien contains five play modes including extreme, trick, trick master, license mode, and a mixed mode called snowboarding combined.  In the extreme, trick, and trick master modes, players earn points either by performing tricks off of obstacles or by linking tricks together to create combinations.  The trick master mode serves acts as a tutorial in which players are sent down an endlessly repeating ski slope while being prompted to perform increasingly difficult tricks.  License mode requires players to navigate a series of obstacles in order to obtain a series of licenses.  The snowboarding combined mode combines the game's downhill racing and trick tournament elements.  Both the extreme and trick modes can be played with multiple players. 
Players control their snowboarder by tapping or holding the X button to jump or charge, holding the D-pad in one direction to set up a trick, and utilizing the PlayStation controllers' analog functions by exerting light or hard pressure on the buttons, consequently yielding different tricks.  Onscreen messages alert the player as to the degree of the spin or flip they are setting up. 
The game features Yagi "The Goat" (the starter character with the best technique), Jin (the fastest starter character), Irin (the starter character with the best responsiveness/quickness), and Cindy (the all-around character): all of whom appeared in Cool Boarders 2 ; furthermore, board choices from Volcom, Arnette, and Burton exist. 
GameSpot wrote in a January 2001 review of the game that its production was "top-notch", citing that the game possessed quirky characters and a comic sensibility. 
This game was well-liked by Cool Boarders 2 cult fans because it is very similar, but the gameplay is more fluid, and the graphics are greatly improved. Similar to Cool Boarders 2, it is possible to do a wide variety of tricks, there are huge jumps, and there are a lot of wildly entertaining game modes. Cool Boarders: Code Alien has a noticeable improvement to the camera work, the terrain and obstacle variety, and the realism. Also, it is much easier to land tricks because there is added air control. There are fewer forced hazards, although there are still too many in this title, so the player can also enjoy playing the game with fewer in-play interruptions.
Aliens versus Predator is a 1999 science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Rebellion Developments and published by Fox Interactive for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. It is a part of the Alien and Predator crossover franchise, Alien vs. Predator. A sequel, Aliens versus Predator 2, was developed by Monolith Productions and released by Sierra in 2001.
1080° Snowboarding is a 1998 snowboarding video game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo. It was released for the Nintendo 64 and re-released in 2008 for the Wii's Virtual Console. In the game, the player controls one of five snowboarders from a third-person perspective, using a combination of buttons to jump and perform tricks over eight levels.
SSX is a snowboarding video game, the first in the SSX series. It was developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports BIG for the PlayStation 2 in October 2000. It was the first title released under the EA Sports BIG publishing label, which specialized in extreme sports titles with an arcade feel.
SSX 3 is a snowboarding video game developed by EA Canada and published under the EA Sports BIG brand. The game was initially released on October 20, 2003 for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. It was later ported to the Game Boy Advance by Visual Impact on November 11, 2003 and to the Gizmondo by Exient Entertainment on August 31, 2005 as a launch title. It is the third installment in the SSX series. The game was made playable on Xbox One systems via backwards compatibility in April 17, 2018.
SSX on Tour is a snowboarding and skiing game, the fourth title in the SSX series of video games for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox and PlayStation Portable. It was released in 2005 for North America on October 11 and in the PAL region on October 21. The PlayStation Portable version was released in the Europe on October 28. In 2007, a prequel titled SSX Blur was released, which took place between SSX 3 and SSX on Tour. The GameCube version contains Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach as playable characters. This was part of a deal Nintendo had with EA Sports to have Nintendo's intellectual properties appear in EA franchises.
SSX Tricky is a snowboarding video game, the second game in the SSX series published under the EA Sports BIG label and developed by EA Canada. A direct sequel to SSX, the game was released in 2001 for PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox and was later ported to the Game Boy Advance in October 2002.
Sonic Riders is a 2006 racing video game for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox in which the player controls characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series on hoverboards. In the game's 16 tracks, the player competes against characters—either controlled by computers or other players—in story and battle modes. It was developed by Sonic Team and Now Production, published by Sega, and released in February 2006 in Japan and North America. It was released in Europe the following month and for Windows at the end of the year. A Game Boy Advance version, developed by Backbone Entertainment, was canceled.

SSX is a series of snowboarding and skiing video games published by EA Sports. It is an arcade-style racing game with larger-than-life courses, characters, and tricks. While the general focus of the series is racing and performing tricks on snowboards, the underlying gameplay of each edition alters slightly; for example, while the original SSX relies on a working knowledge of speed and trick boosts, SSX On Tour requires players to complete different "phat" combos and "monster tricks". SSX is intended to be short for "Snowboard Supercross", but the complete title has almost never actually been referred to in any way in the marketing or promotion of the games or within the games themselves. According to 2012's SSX the acronym in Team SSX means: Snowboarding, Surfing, and Motocross.
Trick'N Snowboarder, known in Japan as Tricky Sliders, is a snowboarding video game published by Capcom in 1999. It is the follow-up to Cave's previous snowboarding game, Steep Slope Sliders. Unlike its predecessor, which was released into arcades, Trick'N Snowboarder is a console exclusive title.
2Xtreme is a racing game released for the PlayStation in 1996 and a sequel to ESPN Extreme Games. Unlike the original, the game does not bear ESPN licensing. In it, the player races against others in various events around the world using Rollerblading, skateboarding, biking, and snowboarding. A sequel, 3Xtreme, was released in 1999.

SSX is a 2012 snowboarding video game in the SSX series of video games from Electronic Arts. It is a reboot of the series. First revealed at the Spike Video Game Awards in 2010 under the working title SSX: Deadly Descents, the game's trailer appeared to show a much darker direction to the series than previous entries, though later footage revealed a return to a lighter tone. SSX includes the use of real locations, rather than the fictional courses of past games. Unlike the previous SSX games, this one does not use the EA Sports BIG branding, and instead uses the standard EA Sports branding. Along with SSX, FIFA Street was also resurrected for a new game.
Rippin' Riders Snowboarding, or Rippin' Riders for short, is a snowboard game developed by UEP Systems, the creators of the Cool Boarders series. It was released in 1999 for the Dreamcast.
Supreme Snowboarding is a snowboarding video game created by Housemarque for Microsoft Windows with a Game Boy Color version by Software Creations in 1999. It was one of the first snowboarding games for Windows to take full advantage of 3D graphics cards that were becoming the norm in the late 1990s, and eventually became an internationally bestselling game. Over 1.5 million units were sold worldwide, allowing Supreme Snowboarding to become the first hit title in Finnish game development. The game received positive critical reception, as well as acclaim for having one of the best visuals of its time, though its lack of content and replay value was sometimes criticized.
