Coolmine Rugby Football club is a rugby union club located at Ashbrook, near the suburbs of Castleknock and Blanchardstown in west County Dublin, Ireland, playing in Division 2A of the Leinster League. The club was established in 1980. Coolmine RFC has junior club status in Leinster.
Coolmine RFC was founded on 26 November 1980 in Coolmine, close to the growing suburbs of Blanchardstown and Castleknock by Mr. Eugene Cadogan and Dr Bill Linehan. The club originally played matches on pitches rented from the local council and used Coolmine Sports Complex as its main facility. The first mini rugby at Coolmine was played in 1981. The club won the Dowling cup for the first time in 1984. In 1985, new lands were purchased at nearby Ashbrook, and pitches were officially opened in 1987. In 1991, the club was promoted to the Junior 1 league and work began on a new clubhouse facility. The new clubhouse was officially opened by then President of Ireland, Mary Robinson, in 1993.
Coolmine RFC's senior team currently plays in Division 2A of the Leinster League as a junior rugby club. The club has several senior teams, an under-20s team, a Vet's team, junior teams ranging from U12s to U16s, and mini rugby teams from U6 to U10 levels.

St Brigid's GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Castleknock, Fingal, Ireland which serves Castleknock, Clonsilla, Blanchardstown and Corduff. Its main grounds are at Russell Park, and it also has grounds in Castleknock at Beech Park and College Fort. The club supports 70 teams, from nursery level to adults, in hurling, football, camogie, women's football, handball and badminton.

Old Wesley Rugby Football Club was founded in 1891 from the past pupils of Wesley College, Dublin. Since then it has become one of Leinster's most famous clubs. It plays in Division 1B of the All-Ireland League. The club won the Leinster Senior Cup in 1909 and 1985 as well as winning the AIL Division 2 title in 1989 and the AIL Division 2A title in 2015. They celebrated their Centenary year in 1991 with a match against a star-studded Barbarians team featuring Internationals such as Eric Rush, Pierre Berbizier and Tony Underwood. They won the eleven-try match in dramatic fashion with a last minute drop-goal to win 37-36.
Suttonians Rugby Football Club is affiliated to the Irish Rugby Football Union. The men's 1st XV team plays in Division 1A of the Leinster League. The women's 1st XV, nicknamed 'Tribe', play in Division 1 of the women's All Ireland League.

The club also has youths boys and girls teams as well as men's, women's, minis and special needs teams. In 2020 the club finally opened the long anticipated clubhouse. George Thomas Hamlet was a former president of the club who was also president of the IRFU and played rugby for Ireland on 29 occasions. In 1928 Balbriggan won the Leinster Towns Cup defeating Athy.

Malahide RFC is an Irish rugby club based in Malahide, Fingal County, playing in Division 2B of the All-Ireland League. The club was founded in 1922 but disbanded in 1944 because of a lack of members during World War II. The club was reformed in 1978 and in 2006 the club moved into its new grounds on Estuary Road.
