Swords RFC are an Irish rugby team based in Swords, County Dublin, Fingal County, men's team playing in Division 7 of the Metro League and women's team playing in Division 5 of the Leinster League. The club colours are green and navy.
The club started out as Aer Lingus, and disbanded some time later on as a result of failing attendances, but was resurrected in the early 1960s.
1993 saw the club's first major triumph, in the then Leinster Junior 3A League, beating Terenure College, after putting St Mary's College to the sword in the semi-final. In the 2000/2001 season they played in the First Division of the Leinster League before being relegated at the end on account of points difference.
They changed their name to ALSAA (Aer Lingus Social and Athletic Association) in the 2002/2003 season, and then changed to their present name in July 2005.

University College Dublin Association Football Club, known commonly as UCD, is the football team of University College Dublin. They play in the League of Ireland Premier Division. Founded in 1895, the club was elected to the League of Ireland in 1979 under the management of Dr. Tony O'Neill. Since the 2008 season they have played at the UCD Bowl, also home to the college's rugby team. 'The Students' play in sky blue and navy. Their reserve and freshers teams play in the Leinster Senior League.
Terenure College RFC was founded on 5 November 1940. It is a senior rugby club in Dublin, Ireland, playing in Division 1A of the All-Ireland League.
Old Wesley Rugby Football Club was founded in 1891 from the past pupils of Wesley College, Dublin. Since then it has become one of Leinster's most famous clubs. It plays in Division 1B of the All-Ireland League. The club won the Leinster Senior Cup in 1909 and 1985 as well as winning the AIL Division 2 title in 1989 and the AIL Division 2A title in 2015. They celebrated their Centenary year in 1991 with a match against a star-studded Barbarians team featuring Internationals such as Eric Rush, Pierre Berbizier and Tony Underwood. They won the eleven-try match in dramatic fashion with a last minute drop-goal to win 37-36.
Ronnie Whelan Sr. was a Republic of Ireland international footballer, who played for several clubs, most notably St. Patrick's Athletic. He is the father of Ronnie Whelan Jr. Another son, Paul, and a grandson, Gavin, were also League of Ireland players. Whelan died in July 1993 at the age of 56 from stomach cancer.
Suttonians Rugby Football Club is affiliated to the Irish Rugby Football Union. The men's 1st XV team plays in Division 1A of the Leinster League. The women's 1st XV, nicknamed 'Tribe', play in Division 1 of the women's All Ireland League.

Ryan O'Dwyer is an Irish former inter-county hurler who played as a half forward for Dublin. He continues to play club hurling with Kilmacud Crokes. The County Tipperary-born player previously hurled with his local club Cashel King Cormac's and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team. In 2019 O’Dwyer began coaching Longwood, a small rural club in Meath, with notable players such as Michael Burke. The team will compete in the Meath senior hurling championship of 2019.

Malahide RFC is an Irish rugby club based in Malahide, Fingal County, playing in Division 2B of the All-Ireland League. The club was founded in 1922 but disbanded in 1944 because of a lack of members during World War II. The club was reformed in 1978 and in 2006 the club moved into its new grounds on Estuary Road. The club colours are black and amber, the same colours as Malahide Cricket Club and Malahide Yacht Club.
Athboy RFC is an Irish rugby team based in Athboy, County Meath, playing in Division 3 of the Leinster League. The club colours are red, purple and black.
Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC is an Irish rugby team based in County Dublin. They play in the Leinster Metropolitan League. There are also teams playing at J4 and J5 standard. The club colours are maroon, white and navy and are sponsored by Ma Nolan's Bars in Nice France, PC Peripherals and The Dropping Well Bar and Restaurant in Milltown. In 2018 the club renamed from Stillorgan RFC to Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC as the club prepares to move into its new home at Tibradden Road, Rathfarnham. The development will include 3 playing pitches, floodlighting and a clubhouse. The grounds shall be known as Heavey Technology Park, to reflect the support and assistance provided by club member Michael Heavey throughout this process.
Cabinteely Football Club is an association football club based in Cabinteely, County Dublin, Ireland comprising adult and many youth under-age teams for both males and females, 60 teams in all. Cabinteely competed in the League of Ireland First Division from 2015–2021 after being granted a licence by the Football Association of Ireland in January 2015. They made their debut in the League of Ireland First Division on 6 March 2015 and play their games at Stradbrook Road, the home of Blackrock College RFC.
O'Hanlon Cup is a chess league in Ireland, it is the fourth division of the Leinster Leagues, run by the Leinster Chess Union. Originally it was the third division, but since the establishment in 1970 of the Heidenfeld Trophy as the second tier, the O'Hanlon became the fourth division. The trophy is named after the nine times Irish Chess Champion, John O'Hanlon and the trophy was used before the setting up of the league as a prize for chess in Connaught by the Irish Chess Union. The top teams each year get promoted to the Ennis Shield and the bottom teams get demoted to the BEA Cup.
Nichola Fryday is an Irish rugby player from Kilcormac, Co Offaly. Nichola graduated from University College Dublin with a BAgrSc 2017. She plays for Blackrock College RFC, Connacht Rugby and the Ireland women's national rugby union team. She has played for Ireland since 2016 and represented them in the 2021 Women's Six Nations Championship.
