Enniscorthy RFC is a rugby union club based in Enniscorthy, County Wexford in Ireland. As of 2023, it fields teams in Division 2B of the All-Ireland League, [2] having been promoted from Division 2C in 2022. [3] It was founded in 1912. [4] The clubhouse and pitch are located on the Ross Road in Enniscorthy. [5]

The club won the last Leinster Junior Challenge Cup in 1925, and went on to win the successor Leinster Rugby Provincial Towns Cup several times, [6] [7] including in 2012, [3] 2015, 2018, [8] and 2019. [9] It has also twice won the Irish Rugby All Ireland Junior Cup (in 2014 and 2016). [5] [10]

Enniscorthy RFC was voted "club of the year" at the 2022 Guinness Rugby Writers Awards. [11]

Naas RFC is an Irish rugby club based in Naas, Leinster. They play in division 1B of the All-Ireland League. The club colours are green and white hoops with black shorts and green socks. The Club is the biggest rugby club in Kildare with one of the biggest underage structures in Leinster and 15 LRR referees. The club grounds are located at Forenaghts, 2 km to the East of the town.

North Kildare RFC is an Irish rugby team based between Maynooth and Kilcock, County Kildare. It is part of the North Kildare Club, which also includes cricket, hockey, bowls, tennis and bridge sections. It is also the home of a gym.

Karen Atkinson is a camogie player, winner of All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship medals in 2007 2010 2011 and as All Ireland winning captain in 2012. She was an All-Star nominee in 2010.

Evelyn Quigley is a camogie player, winner of All-Ireland Senior medals in 2007, 2010 and 2011.

Stacey Redmond is a camogie player, and All-Ireland Senior medal with Wexford in All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship in and a member of the panel who won the 2010 National League before injury deprived her of a chance to participate in Wexford’s 2010 and 2011 All Ireland championship victories. She returned to the inter-county panel in 2011 and was a susbsitute for the 2011 final.

Michelle O’Leary is a camogie player, winner of All-Ireland Senior medals in 2007, 2010 and 2011. She was an All Star nominee in 2008.

Jeamie Deacon, also referred to as Jamie Deacon, is an Ireland women's rugby union international and an Ireland women's rugby sevens international. Deacon represented Ireland at the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup. Deacon is also a former Ireland women's field hockey international. Between 2007 and 2009 she was named three times as an NFHCA All-American while playing field hockey for Michigan State Spartans. She also won Irish Senior Cup and Women's Irish Hockey League titles with UCD.

The Wexford Intermediate Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition contested by mid-tier Wexford GAA clubs. The Wexford County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association has organised it since 1930.
