Enniscorthy RFC is a rugby union club based in Enniscorthy, County Wexford in Ireland. Founded in 1912, [2] as of 2024 it was playing in Division 2C of the All-Ireland League. [3] The clubhouse and pitch are located on the Ross Road in Enniscorthy. [4]

The club won the last Leinster Junior Challenge Cup in 1925, and went on to win the successor Leinster Rugby Provincial Towns Cup several times, [5] [6] including in 2012, [7] 2015, 2018, [8] and 2019. [9] It has also twice won the Irish Rugby All Ireland Junior Cup (in 2014 and 2016). [4] [10]

Enniscorthy RFC was voted "club of the year" at the 2022 Guinness Rugby Writers Awards. [11]

The Wexford Intermediate Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition contested by mid-tier Wexford GAA clubs. It is the 2nd teir of the Wexford GAA hurling championships.The Wexford County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association has organised it since 1930.

Connacht Rugby and Leinster Rugby are two Irish rugby union provincial teams that possess a rivalry that dates back to their IRFU Interprovincial Championship clashes during the amateur era. That rivalry has continued and even intensified since the emergence of the professional era in the late 1990s. Connacht and Leinster comprise two of the four Irish provincial teams competing in the Pro14. As such, the two sides regularly face each other during the regular season, and occasionally during the knock-out rounds.

Clogher Valley Rugby Football Club is an Irish rugby union club based in Fivemiletown, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Founded in 1990, they climbed the Ulster rugby pyramid and in 2023 were promoted to senior status, joining the All-Ireland League in Division 2C, and the Ulster Rugby Premiership. Ireland international Chris Farrell is a product of the Clogher Valley youth system.
