Skerries RFC is an Irish rugby team based in Skerries, Dublin in the province of Leinster. They play in Division 2B of the All-Ireland League.

The club was founded and became a member of the Leinster Branch of the IRFU in 1926. [2] They played their first recorded match against Drogheda, and won by 9 points to 8. [3]

The club has 2 pitches: 1x grass and 1x 3G state-of-the-art pitch (opened November 2019).

The club has a long-standing relationship with the local secondary school Skerries Community College, formerly De La Salle Secondary College Skerries, where many past and current players attended. The college makes use of the grounds at Holmpatrick for training and home matches. The club has a long relationship with Dunbar RFC located on the east coast of Scotland, who they have been playing since 1952. [4] This association is the longest continuous club fixture between a pair of Irish and Scottish rugby clubs.[ citation needed ]

The club is community based and field the following teams (Levels):

Male: 2 adult (Senior AIL & Junior Leinster Metro), U19s (JP Fanagan), youths: U13 to U18 & minis: U6 to U12.

Female: Girls U14 and U16 teams. All girls up to age 18 are most welcome as the club actively build their female participation, those aged 6 to 12 playing mini rugby combined with boys.

After retiring as a rugby player, Miller switched football codes and went on to play Gaelic football for the Dublin county team.

Old Wesley Rugby Football Club was founded in 1891 from the past pupils of Wesley College, Dublin. Since then it has become one of Leinster's most famous clubs. It plays in Division 1B of the All-Ireland League. The club won the Leinster Senior Cup in 1909 and 1985 as well as winning the AIL Division 2 title in 1989 and the AIL Division 2A title in 2015. They celebrated their Centenary year in 1991 with a match against a star-studded Barbarians team featuring Internationals such as Eric Rush, Pierre Berbizier and Tony Underwood. They won the eleven-try match in dramatic fashion with a last minute drop-goal to win 37-36.

Old Belvedere R.F.C. is a senior Irish rugby union club based on Anglesea Road in Ballsbridge, Dublin, Ireland. Old Belvedere was originally founded in 1918–19 by former pupils of Belvedere College. Old Belvedere enters senior men's teams in the All-Ireland League, the Leinster Senior League and the Leinster Senior Cup. In 2010–11 they were All-Ireland League champions. Between 1940 and 1946 the club won the Leinster Senior Cup seven times in a row. This remains a competition record. Old Belvedere also enters men's and women's teams in various senior, junior and youth leagues.

Malahide RFC is an Irish rugby club based in Malahide, Fingal County, playing in Division 2B of the All-Ireland League. The club was founded in 1922 but disbanded in 1944 because of a lack of members during World War II. The club was reformed in 1978 and in 2006 the club moved into its new grounds on Estuary Road. The club colours are black and amber, the same colours as Malahide Cricket Club and Malahide Yacht Club.

North Kildare RFC is an Irish rugby team based between Maynooth and Kilcock, County Kildare. It is part of the North Kildare Club, which also includes cricket, hockey, bowls, tennis and bridge sections. It is also the home of a gym.
