Clonmel RFC is an Irish rugby team based in Clonmel, County Tipperary in the province of Munster. They play in Division 2C of the All-Ireland League. [2]

The club was founded in 1882, and fields both men's and women's XV teams as well as several age-grade teams including a minis section. The club has won the Munster Junior League on four occasions. [3] Following the League victory in 2018-19 the club gained senior status by winning promotion to the All-Ireland League for the first time in the club's history. [4]

Nenagh Ormond RFC is an Irish rugby union club based in Nenagh, County Tipperary. It was founded in 1884 as the Ormond Cricket and Football Club. The club plays in Division 1B of the All-Ireland League and was County Tipperary's first ever senior grade rugby club. The club's main ground is New Ormond Park, with another ground in Tyone where underage teams train and play.

Denis Patrick Leamy is an Irish former rugby union player who is currently part of the coaching team with Munster. He was a back-row forward who could play either flanker or at number 8, and occasionally played at centre. He ended his club rugby career for Munster in the Pro12 and Heineken Cup, and internationally for Ireland. He officially announced his retirement in May 2012 due to a long-standing hip injury.

Cashel Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Cashel, County Tipperary, Ireland, playing in Division 2A of the All-Ireland League. Cashel RFC has a 'minis rugby' section which caters for children from U7s up to U12s, a juvenile section for U14s, U16s and U18 and halfs, and a Ladies Rugby section which includes Girls Tag, U18s and a Senior Ladies Team and 3 Senior teams 3rds 2nds and a 1st team.

CBS High School Clonmel, is a second level Christian Brothers school in Clonmel, County Tipperary in Ireland. It was built in 1899 and its first Superior was Joseph White. A new school building was first occupied in 1971. By 1985, it had a student population of 550 and 31 staff. As of 2024, the school had over 700 students enrolled.

The Tipperary Intermediate Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1979 for the third-tier hurling teams in the county of Tipperary in Ireland.

John Lacey is a former Ireland A and Ireland Sevens rugby union international and current rugby union referee. As a player, Lacey spent most of career with Shannon in the All-Ireland League. He also represented Munster. As an international referee he has taken charge of matches in the Six Nations Championship, the Rugby Championship and the Rugby World Cup. He also refereed the 2013 Pro12 Grand Final and the 2015–16 and 2016–17 European Rugby Challenge Cup finals.

The tournament consisted of 16 clubs with the winner going on to represent Tipperary in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship. The championship began with a Group stage before proceeding to a knock-out format. The winning Club received the O'Dwyer Cup.
