Road bicycle racing was held at the Cycling Street Circuit and the Al-Khor Circuit from December 3 to December 6, while Track cycling was contested at Aspire Hall 1 from December 9 to December 14. The 2006 Asian Games, officially known as the XV Asiad or 15th Asian Games (Arabic: دورة الألعاب الآسيوية الخامسة عشرة, and commonly known as Doha 2006, was an Asian multi-sport event held in Doha, Qatar from December 1 to 15, 2006, with 424 events in 39 sports featured in the games. Doha was the first city in its region and only the second in West Asia to host the games. The city will host the games again in 2030.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Lusail International Circuit</span> Motorsport track in Qatar

The Lusail International Circuit is a motor racing circuit located just outside the city of Lusail, north of Doha, Qatar. The track is 5.419 km (3.367 mi) in length, with a main straight of 1.068 km (0.664 mi). It is surrounded by artificial grass intended to stop the sand encroaching on the track.

Archery was competed at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. Men and women competed in both individual and team events with all competition taking place at the Lusail Archery Range from December 9 through December 13.

The cue sports of snooker, English billiards, and three-cushion carom for men, as well as eight-ball and nine-ball pool for both men and women, were contested at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar from December 4 to December 11. All events were held at the Al-Sadd Multi-Purpose Hall.

An Athletics competition was contested at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar from December 7 to December 12. Twenty-three events were contested for the men while 22 were on the slate for the women. Only the 3000 Meter Steeplechase was not contested for by the women. Judo competed in eight different weight classes for men and women at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. All competition was held in the Qatar Sports Club Indoor Hall.

Karate competed by men and women at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. Kata contested along with Kumite in seven weight classes for men and four for women. All competition took place at the Qatar Sports Club Indoor Hall on December 12 and 13. Each country was limited to having 5 male and 3 female athletes.

Rowing competed at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. Men's and women's singles, doubles, and fours competition took place at the West Bay Lagoon from December 3 to December 7. Since Doha was scarce of water the distance had to be shortened from standard 2000 meters to 1000 metres.

Sailing was contested at the 2006 Asian Games from December 5 to December 13. Competition took place in various sailing disciplines at the Doha Sailing Club.

Shooting was contested at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar from December 2 to December 8, 2006. Men's and women's competitions were held in pistol, rifle, running target, and shotgun. All competition took place at the Lusail Shooting Range.

Weightlifting was contested by both men and women at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar from December 2 to December 6, 2006. There are seven weight categories for the women and eight for the men. All competition took place at the Banquet Hall, Al-Dana Club.

Cycling at the 2010 Asian Games was held in Guangzhou, China. Road bicycle racing was held at the Triathlon Venue from November 20 to 23, while track cycling was contested at Guangzhou Velodrome from November 13 to 17, and mountain biking was contested at Dafushan Mountain Bike Course on November 18, and BMX racing was contested at Guangzhou Velodrome on November 19.

The cycling competitions of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo featured 22 events in five disciplines. The 2020 Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Athletics at the 2014 Asian Games was held in Incheon, South Korea from 27 September to 3 October 2014. A total of 47 events were contested, 24 by men and 23 by women - matching the Olympic athletics programme. The 42 track and field events on the programme were hosted at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, while the road competitions took place around the city's marathon and racewalking course.

Cycling at the 2014 Asian Games was held in Incheon, South Korea. Road bicycle racing was held at the Songdo Road Cycling Course from September 27 to 28, while track cycling was contested at Incheon International Velodrome from September 20 to 25, and mountain biking was contested at Yeongjong Baegunsan MTB Course on September 30, and BMX racing was contested at the Ganghwa Asiad BMX Track on October 1.

The cycling competitions of the 2018 Asian Games were held at two venues in Subang and two venues in Jakarta from 20 August to 31 August 2018. Road bicycle racing was held around the road of Subang from 22 to 24 August 2018, while track cycling was contested at the Jakarta International Velodrome from 27 to 31 August 2018, mountain biking was contested at Khe Bun Hill in Subang on from 20 to 21 August 2018, and BMX racing was contested at the Pulomas International BMX Center on 25 August 2018.
