Vikas Krishan Yadav is an Indian boxer from Bhiwani district in Haryana, the hub of some of India's best boxers. He won a gold medal in the 2010 Asian Games in the Lightweight category and a gold medal in 75 kg weight category at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He is one of the best boxers of India. He also boxed professionally.

Diving was contested from March 10 to March 11 at the 1951 Asian Games in National Stadium Swimming Pool, New Delhi, India. Only two countries entered the competition. The host nation India won both gold medals, Iran finished second in medal table by winning one silver and one bronze.

Weightlifting was contested from 20 November to 29 November 1982 at the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi, India. The competition included only men's events for ten different weight categories.

The 2014 Asian Games featured 49 competition venues and 48 training facilities on the sixteen days Games competition from September 19 to October 4, 2014. Of them, there are ten venues are newly built. All of the competition venues will be used after the opening ceremony bar football venues, which is held from September 14, 2014.

Yun Chol is a North Korean weightlifter. He competed in the men's middle heavyweight event at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He also won a silver medal at the 1990 Asian Games and finished seventh at the 1990 World Weightlifting Championships.
