Cyera Makenzie Hintzen (born October 28, 1997) is an American soccer player who plays as a striker.

Early life

Hintzen attended the University of Texas in the United States, where she was regarded as one of the soccer team's most important players. [1]

Club career

Hintzen played for Icelandic side Valur, helping the club win the league. [2] She then signed for Australian side Perth Glory, where she was regarded as one of the club's most important players. [3] She was their top scorer during the 2021/22 season with five goals. [4]

International career

Hintzen was called up to the United States under-19 team in 2015. [5]

Style of play

Hintzen mainly operates as a striker and has been described as her "physical upper body strength combined with pace and sharpness in front of goal have marked her out". [6] She is left-footed. [7]
