Miloš Zeman is a Czech politician who served as the third president of the Czech Republic from 2013 to 2023. He also previously served as the prime minister of the Czech Republic from 1998 to 2002. As leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party from 1993 to 2001, he is credited with the revival of the party into one of the country's major political forces. Zeman briefly served as the President of the Chamber of Deputies from 1996 to 1998.

Milan Chovanec is a Czech politician. He served as Minister of the Interior of the Czech Republic in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka from 2014 to 2017, and served as acting leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party from June 2017 to February 2018. He was also a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic from 26 October 2013 until his resignation on 14 April 2019. Previously he served as governor of Plzeň Region between 2010 and 2014 and as a member of Plzeň City Council from 2002 until 2010.
Tomáš Prouza is a Czech economist, former Deputy Minister of Finance (2004–2007) and from January 2014 to March 2017 State Secretary for European Affairs at the Czech Prime Minister's Office. In May 2016 the Government appointed Tomáš Prouza as the coordinator for the digital agenda. His main task was to synchronize and manage all governmental activities and communication for support of the digital economy and digitalization of public administration among the ministries and other central governmental institutions. He resigned his government positions on 31 March 2017 and went to establish his own consulting company EU Politics Advisory. On 1 October 2018 he has become President of the Confederation of Trade and Tourism of the Czech Republic.
Operation Dragoon Ride was a 2015 military exercise of the US Army and NATO involving transfer of military equipment and personnel from the Baltic states across Poland and the Czech Republic to Germany, following Operation Atlantic Resolve. From 20 March to 1 April 2015, a convoy of armored fighting vehicles, including Strykers, returned via road to their garrison in Vilseck, after manoeuvres in Poland, Estonia and Lithuania.
