The name is an abbreviation of the company's original Berlin address, Kaiserdamm 7. !K7 has since opened branch offices in New York City and London. Global Underground 031: Dubfire, Taipei is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by DJ and producer Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia, one half of progressive house duo Deep Dish. Dubfire's release follows that of his Deep Dish collaborator, Sharam's solo mix, Global Underground 029: Dubai. Previously, Deep Dish have mixed Global Underground 021: Moscow and Global Underground 025: Toronto, along with Afterclub Mixes. Since 1994 Stef Lopazz, also known as LOPAZZ, has been part of the Heidelberg based HD800 team; he also runs the multimedia label 800achtspur, and is renowned as a film composer and Mix-Mastering-Engineer, having written, produced and engineered many internationally acclaimed records and films. In 2001, he had success with Redagain P when they remixed the Miami Vice & Magnum, P.I. themes; then, in 2003, Lopazz's self-titled EP was released by Output Recordings, followed by the singles 'Blood' and his first bona fide club hit ‘I Need Ya’. Its success led to Lopazz remixing Germany's biggest pop act Xavier Naidoo, while techno legend Sven Väth snapped up ‘I Need Ya’ for his Sound of the Fourth Season mix CD. Stefan's relationship with Berlin-based Get Physical Music began when he was commissioned to remix Chelonis R. Jones' 'I Don't Know'. The Pemberton Festival was a three-day summer music festival inaugurated in 2008. It was held in Pemberton, British Columbia, a village just north of popular ski resort Whistler. Produced by Live Nation Canada, the festival featured primarily rock and indie rock musicians, with a small proportion of hip hop. Musicians played on one of two stages, picturesquely situated at the foot of Mount Currie and the surrounding mountain range. The site, a 400-acre (1.6 km2) hayfield, was discovered by concert-promoter, Shane Bourbonnais, of Live Nation, just down the street from his home. He emphasized event sustainability and environmentalism as priorities in running the festival.
