Anne Lilia Berge "Annie" Strand is a Norwegian singer-songwriter, DJ and record producer. Annie began her recording career in 1999 with the underground hit single "The Greatest Hit" and gained international acclaim, particularly from music bloggers, for her debut album Anniemal (2004).
"On a Night Like This" is a song recorded by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue. It was released on 11 September 2000 by Parlophone as the second single for her seventh studio album, Light Years (2000), and distributed in various formats. The track was originally written for Swedish singer Pandora by Steve Torch, Brian Rawling, Graham Stack, and Mark Taylor, while production was handled by the latter two, it was handed to Minogue to record. Musically, "On a Night Like This" is a dance-pop song that also incorporates elements of Eurodance. Its lyrical content delves on experiencing unique, possibly sexual experiences during the night.
American singer Madonna has released 88 singles and 23 promotional singles and charted with 16 other songs. In 1982, she signed a contract with Sire Records, and released her first two singles before launching her eponymous debut album. Her first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100 was "Holiday" (1983), which also became her first top-ten hit song in several other countries. DJ-Kicks: The Exclusives is a compilation album released on the Studio !K7 independent record label. Although it commemorates 25 DJ mix album in the popular DJ-Kicks series, this album is unmixed. Instead, it is a "best of" selection of tracks that were produced and performed by the DJs who mixed some of the earlier DJ-Kicks albums. Each of the tracks were exclusive to the DJ Kicks series and are available on those previous mix albums.
Optimo Espacio was a weekly Sunday-night club based in Glasgow, Scotland at the Sub Club on Jamaica Street, as well as a collective moniker for the night's resident DJ duo. Having run every week since it was founded in 1997, on Thursday 11 March 2010, it was announced on the official Facebook page that the weekly nights would come to an end on Sunday 25 April 2010. However, JD Twitch and JG Wilkes would continue to tour, promote and release music as Optimo.

"Sing" is a song recorded by Scottish singer Annie Lennox for her fourth solo studio album, Songs of Mass Destruction (2007). It was released as the second single from the album on 1 December 2007 by RCA Records. Lennox was inspired to write the track after seeing South African activist Zackie Achmat at Nelson Mandela's 46664 HIV/AIDS concert. She wanted the track to be a source of empowerment for people without a voice of their own. It also gave rise to her SING Campaign which aimed to raise funds and awareness for issues surrounding HIV/AIDS. "Sing" was produced by Glen Ballard and interpolates the South African tune "Jikelele"; the music was given to Lennox by an activist group called The Generics.
"The Greatest Hit" is a song by Norwegian singer Annie. It was written and produced by Annie and DJ Tore "Erot" Kroknes. The song samples Madonna's 1982 debut single "Everybody", and she received a co-writing credit. The track was released as a limited edition 7-inch single in 1999. It became an underground club hit in Norway and the United Kingdom. Retitled "Greatest Hit", the song was later included on Annie's debut album, Anniemal (2004).

"Boys & Girls" is a song recorded by French DJ and record producer Martin Solveig featuring Canadian synthpop group Dragonette. It was released on 28 September 2009 as the first single from the reissue of Solveig's third studio album, C'est la Vie (2008), subtitled the Definitive Edition (2009). The song also appears on Solveig's fourth studio album, Smash (2011), and as a bonus track on the Australian edition of Dragonette's second studio album, Fixin to Thrill (2009).

"The Mother We Share" is the debut single by Scottish synth-pop band Chvrches from their debut studio album, The Bones of What You Believe, released in 2013. The song was re-released in the United Kingdom on 15 September 2013 by Virgin Records. The re-release peaked within the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart, reaching number 38 in September 2013. This made it their highest-charting single to date, until 2019 when their collab with Marshmello's "Here With Me" reached number 9 on the UK Singles Chart in April 2019.
"Thieves" is a song by American industrial metal band Ministry. It was released as the opening track from the band's fourth studio album, The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste (1989), as well as the B-side from its single, "Burning Inside". The song's lyrics deal mainly with political corruption. The song includes dialogue samples from R. Lee Ermey's drill instructor character in Full Metal Jacket. Ministry's version was featured in the 1992 science fiction film Freejack, also in the 2009 video game Brütal Legend.

The Henry Cow Box Redux: The Complete Henry Cow is a seventeen-CD plus one-DVD box set by English avant-rock group Henry Cow; it was released by RēR Megacorp in November 2019. The box set comprises the previously released 2006 Henry Cow Box and the 2009 40th Anniversary Henry Cow Box Set, totalling over sixteen hours. A bonus CD: Ex Box – Collected Fragments 1971–1978 was given to advance subscribers of the 2019 Box Redux, and contains newly recovered and previously unreleased recordings, plus the contents of the 2006 box set bonus CD-single: "Unreleased Orckestra Extract". The 2019 Box Redux plus the Ex Box bonus CD contains all the officially released studio and live recordings of Henry Cow.
