Funker Vogt is a German electronic-industrial music project with an aggressive style, formed by vocalist Jens Kästel and programmer Gerrit Thomas in 1995. Other members of the band are keyboardist/manager Björn Böttcher, live guitarist Frank Schweigert and lyricist Kai Schmidt. The name of the band translates from German to English as "Radio Operator Vogt", this being the surname of a friend of the band who was a military radio operator.

Total is an American R&B girl group and one of the signature acts of the Bad Boy Records imprint during the mid 1990s. The group consists of founding members Kima Raynor, Keisha Spivey, and Pamela Long. Total is best known for their feature on Mase's "What You Want", as well as their hits "Kissin' You", "Can't You See", and "What About Us?" and "Trippin'", both featuring Missy Elliott. Long also sung the chorus of The Notorious B.I.G.'s hit song "Hypnotize", although she was not officially credited. Total made their first appearance singing the hook on The Notorious B.I.G.'s debut single, "Juicy", widely considered one of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time.

D.A.F.T.: A Story About Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes is a video collection by French electronic music duo Daft Punk that was released on March 28, 2000. It features music videos of six tracks from their album Homework (1997). Though its title derives from the appearance of dogs, androids, firemen ("Burnin'"), and tomatoes in the videos, there is no cohesive plot connecting any of the episodes.

"How High" is a song by American hip hop duo Method Man & Redman, released on August 15, 1995, as the duo's first single. It was originally featured on the soundtrack to the 1995 hip hop documentary film, The Show, and has since appeared on several compilation albums such as The Hip Hop Box and Def Jam's Greatest Hits, among several others. The song, produced by Erick Sermon, is the first official collaboration from longtime friends and East Coast rappers Method Man of Wu-Tang Clan and Redman of Def Squad, marking their debut as a duo. The song performed exceptionally well commercially, reaching number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single has since been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
K-Def is an American, New Jersey based, hip hop producer/DJ who has been actively involved in the music industry since the early 1990s. He has recently produced music for artists such as Ghostface Killah and Puff Daddy. K-Def earned critical praise early in his career for his work with Marley Marl on the album Here Come the Lords by the hip hop group Lords of the Underground. Among the songs from that album that benefited from K-Def's production work include the hits "Funky Child" and "Chief Rocka".
"Da Bomb" is the third and final single released by American hip hop duo Kris Kross from their second album, Da Bomb (1993). It features female rapper Da Brat in what was her first appearance on a song. Da Bomb would prove to be the least successful single released from the album, not charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and making it to #25 on the Hot Rap Singles. Two versions of the song were released the original LP version and the Explosive Mix that was used in the music video. The line "I drop bombs like Hiroshima" was edited out of the song for the album's Japanese release.

Featuring a blend of pop and rap, the single was written and produced by Jake Schulze, Max Martin, and Denniz Pop. It contains a sample of "Clap Your Hands" by Herbie Crichlow. The single reached number 10 on the UK Singles Chart and was certified Silver.
Ghetto Street Funk is the debut studio album by American hip hop trio Parental Advisory. It was released on November 9, 1993 via MCA Records. Recording sessions took place at Bosstown Recording Studios, Studio LaCoCo and Doppler Studios in Atlanta. Production was handled by Organized Noize, DJ Toomp, and P.A. themselves, with Pebbles serving as executive producer. The album spawned two singles: "Maniac" and "Ghetto Head Hunta". It is also contains a remix of the song "Lifeline", which originally appeared on CB4 .
