Dadasara is a village in the Tral sub-district in the Pulwama district of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The name of Dadasara is derived from the two words "Dadah", meaning deep, and "Sar" meaning lake. Dadasara is believed to have been once a deep lake. It is second largest village of Tral by area and population.

The Tarsar Lake or Tar Sar is an almond-shaped, oligotrophic alpine lake situated in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. On its west side lies Dachigam National Park, and on its south side lies Tral. The shortest route for reaching it, is from Surfraw Ganderbal, but it has a difficult terrain. Other trek routes to the lake are from Lidderwat and Nagaberan forest areas which fall in south Kashmir.

The Burzahom archaeological site is located in the Srinagar district of the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Archaeological excavations have revealed four phases of cultural significance between 3000 BCE and 1000 BCE. Periods I and II represent the Neolithic era; Period III the Megalithic era ; and Period IV relates to the early Historical Period. The findings, recorded in stratified cultural deposits representing prehistoric human activity in Kashmir, are based on detailed investigations that cover all aspects of the physical evidence of the site, including the ancient flora and fauna.

Government Degree College Tral also known as GDC Tral, is a University of Kashmir-affiliated co-educational degree college located at Tral in Pulwama district of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The Marsar Lake is an oligotrophic alpine lake located in Tral valley of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is famous for its scenic beauty. It also falls in the close vicinity of Aru valley in Pahalgam. The lake is separated by a mountain with a minimum peak elevation of 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) from another lake of the same nature known as Tarsar Lake. Due to their close proximity and similar physical characteristics, the two lakes are often called as the "twin sisters". The site has over the years become a famous tourist destination. Tarsar-Marsar Trek is one of the highly opted treks of the Kashmir Valley. A stream emerges from this lake, which travels through the Dachigam valley and enters Srinagar near Harwan garden where it fills the Sarband reservoir. This stream is joined by another stream which flows from Mount Mahadeo near the Telbal village and from thereon it is called the Telbal nallah which is the primary source of the Dal Lake.

Gufkral is a site inhabited by potters who utilize the caves. Caves and archeological site are located at Banmir village in the Tral Tehsil of the Pulwama District, in the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The cave of Gufkral is one of the oldest cave in Kashmir and some estimates trace their origin 2000-3000 BCE.

Tral Assembly constituency is one of the 87 constituencies in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir a north state of India. Tral is also part of Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency.
