Dance Champions is a dance competition reality television series that was telecasted on 30 September 2017, on Star Plus. This show is produced by Urban Brew. This dance show divides the contestants into few teams which are mentored by a professional dancer punit j phatak.

Contents

Dance Champions features champion dancers who won or were runners-up in different shows. Moreover, new challengers will also join them and can beat them by displaying their further level dance moves.

Concept

There are two kinds of participants, half of the participants are champions of other dance shows and half are runners up. Every week, there will be a contest between challengers versus champions.

Remo D'Souza and Terence Lewis are the judges of the show who would select contestants for the top list. The hosts are Raghav Juyal and Ridhima Pandit.

Punit Pathak is the choreographer.

RuPaul's Drag Race is an American reality competition television series, the first in the Drag Race franchise, produced by World of Wonder for Logo TV, WOW Presents Plus, VH1 and, beginning with the fifteenth season, MTV. The show documents RuPaul in the search for "America's next drag superstar". Raghav Juyal is an Indian dancer, choreographer, actor and television presenter. He is known as the "King of Slow Motion" for his surreal dance moves in slow motion style and for his reinvention of the Slow Motion Walk in India. He rose to fame after being a contestant and finalist in Zee TV's dance reality show Dance India Dance 3 and a skipper for the team Raghav Ke Rockstars in Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2 and Dance Ke Superkids where his team was declared the winner under his captainship. He was a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 (2016).

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 is the sixth season of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It premiered on 1 June 2013 on Colors. The season was hosted by Manish Paul and Kapil Sharma. Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza were the three judges. The finale took place on 14 September 2013 and where Drashti Dhami with Salman Yusuff Khan emerged as the winners while Lauren Gottlieb and Punit Pathak became the runner-up.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 is the seventh season of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It premiered on 7 June 2014 on Colors. The series was hosted by Ranvir Shorey and Drashti Dhami but later got replaced by Manish Paul. Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza were the three judges. The finale took place on 20 September 2014 and was won by Ashish Sharma and Shampa Gopikrishna.

Season 2 of Dance Plus tag line Get Set Go premiered on 2 July 2016 on Star Plus. It was created and produced by Varun Trikha Productions, Urban Brew Studios and Frames Production and aired for 25 episodes. This time there were two talents from Nepal who progressed to the Grand Finale. Mokshda Jailkhani was the first contestant to get the double plus. Wild Ripperz set the record by gaining Double Plus for 8 consecutive time. Auditions were conducted across several cities of India from 3 May 2016 to 26 May 2016. This show was hosted by Raghav Juyal.

<i>Dance Plus</i> (season 3) Season of television series

Season 3 of Dance Plus tag line ek level up started on 1 July 2017 on STAR Plus and produced by Urban Brew Studios. Winner was Bir Radha Sherpa, from team Punit. Other three contestants from Top four were from Dharmesh's team, a new record for the finalists. Amardeep Singh Natt became the first runner up, Aryan Patra became the second runner up and Shivani and Tarun were the third runner up. All the finalists won the hearts of public with their entertaining and excellent performances. Overall, Team Dharmesh has two winners from season one and two, Team Punit has one and Shakti Mohan has none. Show is acclaimed and very popular due to creative format and uniqueness.

India's Next Superstars is an Indian talent search reality television show which aired on Star Plus and streamed on Hotstar. It was judged by Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty. Aman Gandotra and Natasha Bharadwaj were declared as winners, while Shruti Sharma was the first runner up and awarded the special title of ‘Third Superstar’. It later premiered on Star Plus on 31 October 2021 and aired Every Sunday Night until 16 January 2022. It is produced by Urban Brew Studios in association with Frames Productions.
