Darker/Cut is a compilation album by C-Tec, released on 5 September 2018 by Armalyte Industries. [1] [2]
Flux awarded Darker/Cut a nine out of ten and said "every track has a story and a meaning, and we have no fillers or dull moments" and that the album represents "an important page in the history of electronic music, showing different facets and graced by great artists." [3] Regen said Darker "has De Meyer's vocals, which are a hallmark of '80s era industrial, as well as Heal's own chainsaw of a voice, and blasts of heavily processed guitars" and "felt more experimental than the next album, Cut, which seems to shift musical styles more, as well as a greater employment of empty space throughout the album." [4]

Front 242 is a Belgian electronic music group that came into prominence during the 1980s. Pioneering the style they called electronic body music, they are a profound influence on the electronic and industrial music genres.
Branigan 2 is the second studio album by American singer Laura Branigan, released in March 1983 by Atlantic Records. The album reached number 29 on the US Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on September 18, 1985, denoting shipments in excess of 500,000 copies in the United States. In a retrospective review for AllMusic, Bryan Buss wrote that Branigan's "full, expressive voice shows serious growth" on "a much more cohesive collection" than her debut album, Branigan, adding that "this album doesn't waste a single track".

Darker is the debut studio album of C-Tec, released on 1 September 1997 by Synthetic Symphony. The album showcases the band wanting to experiment by integrating different styles and textures into their compositions after the release of their 1995 EP Cyber-Tec. Marc Heal is an English musician, television producer and writer. He is best known as an industrial music artist of the 1990s, noted for mixing metal and techno with more traditional industrial sounds. His extroverted onstage behaviour was unusual in the generally downbeat industrial genre.

C-Tec was an EBM band originally formed as a side project in 1995 by Jean-Luc De Meyer, Jonathan Sharp, and Ged Denton. The name was taken from Cyber-Tec Records, who released the band's debut EP. Afterward, Jonathan Sharp left the band, and Marc Heal joined as a full-time member.
Information Society is the debut studio album by American synth-pop band Information Society, released on June 21, 1988, by Tommy Boy Records and Reprise Records. It was the band's first release under a major label, after two independently released extended plays. The album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on December 6, 1988, denoting shipments in excess of 500,000 copies in the United States. Four singles were released from the album, including "What's on Your Mind ", the group's most commercially successful single to date. The album compiles tracks from outside the band's main discography, namely the previously unreleased songs "Cut to the Chase", "Henry Catwallace", "Lizardman" and "Blind Acceleration", remixed tracks by Chemlab, Killing Floor and Penal Colony and the song "Cocked, Loaded & Ready" with the original opening intact.
Cyber-Tec is the debut EP of C-Tec, released on August 1, 1995 by Synthetic Symphony. The release peaked at No. 7 on the CMJ RPM Chart in the U.S..
