2005
Magee attracted considerable media attention when following the departure of Tommy Lyons as Dublin manager, it emerged that he would not take part in the 2005 championship as he decided to travel to Australia for a year. However, Magee returned in time to play a minor role in the Dub's victory to claim the Leinster Championship.
He was also an integral part of the Kilmacud Crokes side that won the Dublin and Leinster Club Championships. Crokes were knocked out in the All-Ireland Club semi-final.
Magee was also part of Kilmacuds 2004 and 2005 winning sides of the Dublin Senior Club Football Championship, a team which went on to claim the Leinster Club Football Championship in 2005.
2006
Maggee scored a total of two points for Dublin in the 2006 National Football League. Darren Magee was recovering from surgery to deal with a long-standing wrist injury which delayed his imminent return to inter-county football. Magee made his return to this year's All-Ireland Championship in the Leinster Final in which Dublin defeated Offaly to claim the Leinster Championship for the 46th time.
2007
He won the 2007 O'Byrne Cup for Dublin against Laois at O'Connor Park in Offaly. The game finished on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-13 against Laois. Magee's season has once again been frustrated by a hand injury, resulting in him losing his first team spot to Shane Ryan. Magee was known to be annoyed with not playing any part in Dublin's Leinster Final win over Laois at Croke Park.
2009 Magee played a hugh role in helping his club Kilmacud Crokes to win the All-Ireland club title. On this day he received the man of the match award. During this year he also picked up the award of Leinster club player of the year.

Ray "Cossy" Cosgrove is an Irish Gaelic footballer, born in Dublin. He attended St. Benildus College in Kilmacud. He plays his club football for Kilmacud Crokes and played for the Dublin senior football team between 1996 and 2008. He will be most remembered for his incredible performances in the 2002 scoring an amazing 6–23 in a season which saw Dublin lift their first Leinster title since 1995.
Bryan Cullen is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played as a left wing-forward at senior level for the Dublin county team. Cullen announced his retirement on 9 January 2015. He stated 'I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Dublin managers Tommy Lyons, Pillar Caffrey, Pat Gilroy and Jim Gavin and especially to all the Dublin players past and present that I had the pleasure of sharing the pitch with.'

He is also a regular panellist/analyst on RTÉ's The Sunday Game. Although born in County Mayo, Lyons considers himself a Dubliner, having moved to Dublin at a very young age. Lyons playing career with Kilmacud Crokes ended early due to a persistent knee injury. A screw had to be placed within the knee at one point, which hindered his running ability.

Paul Griffin is an Irish Gaelic footballer. He was educated at Oatlands College, Stillorgan, and University College Dublin, where he graduated in Physiotherapy. He plays for club side Kilmacud Crokes and plays left full-back for the Dublin county team, although he started his Dublin career in the half-back line. He has been one of Dublin's most consistent performers since making his Dublin debut in 2004. He has won the Leinster senior football championship with Dublin on two occasions in 2005 and 2006. He was on the Kilmacud Crokes side that won the 2006 Leinster Senior club football championship. He has won the Dublin club football championship with the Crokes on two occasions, 2004 and 2005. Paul Griffin captained Dublin's U-21 football side in 2004. Griffin was nominated for a 2006 all-star award. Barry O'Rorke or "baz" (born 3 March 1989) is an inter-county Gaelic footballer and hurler for Dublin. He plays his club hurling and football with Kilmacud Crokes and has been a member of the senior panel in both codes. He received his secondary education at the Irish medium school Coláiste Eoin in County Dublin. In 2007, O'Rorke received a sports scholarship to University College Dublin (UCD) for his contributions in both Gaelic football and hurling. O'Rorke is a speaker of the Irish language and is noted for saying his Leinster championship speech in the language in June 2007. He is the brother of former Under-21 Dublin hurling player Shane O'Rorke "shaz" and Dublin minor hurling player Oisin O'Rorke "Oiaz".
