Dash Almalu (Persian : داش المالو‎, also Romanized as Dāsh Ālmālū; also known as Ālmālū Dāsh)^[1] is a village in Yengejeh Rural District, Howmeh District, Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 788, in 148 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Yengejeh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Howmeh District, Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,264, in 1,553 families. The rural district has 8 villages.
