Davazdah Cheshmeh, also called the Davazdah Pelleh (old name Haraz Bridge), is a bridge in Amol, Iran. [1] The bridge is a monument Mazandaran. [2] The Bridge is located in the center of the city, near Moalagh Bridge and connects the east of the city to the western sector and the longest bridge on Haraz River with the total length of 127.40 metres (418.0 ft). The same was constructed in the 18th century. [3] Mohammad Hassan Khan Etemad al-Saltanah says About history Davazdah Cheshmeh, that though the bridge was there before the Safavid era, it was completed during time of Abbas I of Persia. [4] [5] The Sasanian Empire built on a grand scale. The Haraz River is a notable river flowing through the Mazandaran Province of northern Iran. It flows northwards, from the Alborz mountain range into the Caspian Sea. After flowing along the Haraz Road and Valley for about 100 km, the Haraz river meanders in the midst of Amol, from where it reaches the Caspian Sea. The Haraz begins in Mount Damavand and flows northward and pours into Caspian Sea in the area between the two northern cities of Mahmoudabad and Fereydunkenar. The Haraz is currently contaminated due to discharge of effluent from various industrial plants.

The Nassereddin Shah relief known as Shekl Shah and Shekl-e Shah is a rock relief commissioned by Naser al-Din Shah Qajar around 1879, showing the shah on horseback flanked by ten standing ministers. It is the latest in a tradition of large rock reliefs ordered by Iranian rulers. It is located on the Haraz road overlooking the Haraz river about 60 km from Amol in Mazandaran Province, Iran.
