David Moreno is an American musician, singer, audio engineer, songwriter and producer, best known for his role as the drummer in the American rock band Puddle of Mudd. [1] [2]
Born in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, California, Moreno is of Mexican descent. He first started playing drums when he was only 11, and at just 15 years old, Moreno was already performing his first gig at the famous iconic Whisky a Go Go nightclub on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California.
Moreno's musical education continued when he attended The Dick Grove School of Music upon completing high school. There, he graduated from the Percussion Program after studying hand percussion, ear training and music theory, as well as many genres of music which encompassed everything from Rock, Metal, Jazz, Disco, Latin, Hip Hop, Funk, and Fusion to Orchestra, Big Band, R&B and Country. Moreno has recorded more than 100 records which include movie soundtracks, instructional CDs, karaoke and television commercials. In 2008, he contributed the studio drum piece for the theme song to the Dr. Phil show.

In January 2016, Dave was chosen to be included in the elite line-up of performers at the 'Bonzo Bash' - an annual event at the NAMM Show honoring the late, great drummer, John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. There, he took the stage alongside other top-industry professionals, performing "The Immigrant Song" during the show. [5]

Currently, in addition to touring with Puddle of Mudd and working on recording a new album with the band, [6] Moreno also owns and operates a full production Recording Studio in Los Angeles called Doom Room Studio where he teaches, produces, records, and mixes independent and national artists, television and film. A drum kit is a collection of drums, cymbals, and sometimes other auxiliary percussion instruments set up to be played by one person. The drummer typically holds a pair of matching drumsticks, and uses their feet to operate hi-hat and bass drum pedals.
Puddle of Mudd is an American rock band formed in Kansas City, Missouri in 1992. To date, the band has sold over seven million albums. Their major-label debut Come Clean has sold over five million copies. They have released an extended play, an independent album and six studio albums, with their latest being Ubiquitous in September 2023. Vocalist and guitarist Wes Scantlin has served as the only consistent member throughout the band's history.
John Henry Bonham was an English musician who was the drummer of the rock band Led Zeppelin. Noted for his speed, power, fast single-footed kick drumming, distinctive sound, and feel for groove, he is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential drummers in music history.
Jason John Bonham (born 15 July 1966) is an English drummer. He is the son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. Since his father's death in September 1980, he has performed with the surviving three members of Led Zeppelin on several occasions, including the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert at O2 arena in London in December 2007. He has also done extensive work as a session musician, led the group Bonham in the 1980s and '90s, and is a member of the supergroups Black Country Communion and Sammy Hagar and the Circle.
Roy Z is an American guitarist, songwriter and record producer, best known for his work with Bruce Dickinson, Halford, and Judas Priest. He also is the founder of Tribe of Gypsies, a Latin-influenced hard rock band. Roy also helped write and produce the band Life After Death in 1996.

Keith "Lucky" Lehrer is a drummer from Los Angeles, California associated with several influential LA punk rock bands. Lehrer also appeared in three notable documentary films charting the punk rock music scene. He is the brother of LA's Wasted Youth guitarist Chett Lehrer. Brandon Kyle Saller is an American musician, singer and multi-instrumentalist. He is the lead vocalist, keyboardist and former drummer of the metalcore band Atreyu. He is responsible for the melodic singing found in the band's music. He is the band's primary songwriter, along with guitarist Dan Jacobs. Following Atreyu's hiatus in 2011, Saller focused on his side project Hell or Highwater, where he is the lead vocalist. In 2011, the group released their debut album, Begin Again, in 2011. The band released an EP, The Other Side, in August 2013. Saller returned to Atreyu in 2014 and has remained a full-time member of the group since.
